Morning everyone,
Nothing exciting to report in these parts. Well...kinda, for the first time Sebastian took a nap with me yesterday right next to my face. For two hours. It sounds simple I know like what's the big deal....but it's only been a month today since I adopted him and it's so totally different adopting a 13 year old cat than adopting a kitten (as those of you who have done it know). He already is who he is and has lived with other people who tell me he doesn't like this but he's okay with that. I'm finding that he's a lot more than okay with things he didn't supposedly like very much such as cuddling and it's pretty rewarding. Getting a kitten to love you is easy. This is a challenge every day but I think the challenge is almost over thanks in large part to Jake and Dylan for being so welcoming. And Sebastian is such a GREAT cat. I never ever planned to have another diabetic after all of the heartbreak with Alex who I loved so much...but somehow this is the first feeling I've had that Alex has spoken. Like "Mommy you took such good care of me and Jackson too, I really won't mind if you help another kitty". And so I am..and he is helping me more than I can say. cat_pet_icon
Anyhow, Sebastian is fine, appy is great, all p's great (even the playing which surprises me), now my cats have to help ME get a life.
Have a great Sunday everyone I need sleep I-)
