Poopy seems to have read the game plan and wants to play. One, two, three, four.

Going to shoot 1.4u and see what he does today. (Was going to shoot 1.2u if under 200...but 199 is so darn close and comparing with yesterday's numbers and meal...think 1.4u may do better.) One, two, three, four.

Looking back over the last couple of days, 1.4u may be his magic number. One, two, three, four.

Will leave out some food just in case. One, two, three, four.

Watch him change the music. One, two, three. One, two, three. One....

That is SOOO unfair! I about fell out of my chair here at work seeing that picture!

+4 206 and morning food all but gone. Opened another can (that makes 3 cans for the morning!) of 5.5 oz. food.

Won't make another trip home during day as roads are slick in places from the freezing snow we got last night. :cry:

Have a meeting right after work so will run home to test/feed/shoot as quickly as I can to make it to the meeting a hair late.

If PMPS is in the 200s, will stick with the 1.4u. :smile:
 
PMPS 257 so going to stay with the 1.4u. Even though I opened another can of food at +4, all was gone when I got home, and Poopy was stalking the food bowl. He's chowing down now as if he hasn't had a bite to eat all day!

Here's hoping the AMPS is in the lower 200s so I can stick with the 1.4u as I won't be able to come home tomorrow during the day. :sad:
 
Not sure if it's Poopy sticking with the plan or me having alternate plans depending on Poopy! LOL

I have a three day weekend coming up, and the dreaded vet visit on Saturday. I can hear it now, about me home testing and not doing the 2u he prescribed. *Sigh* I'm hoping to get a bunch of stuff printed out tomorrow to take to the vets with me, including Poopy's SS. Not sure the vet will even look at it. This will be my third and probably last visit to Poopy's long time vet office. Here's hoping for one of those "third time's a charm" thingies.

I do have a couple of leads for other vets, just in case I do need to switch. It will be unfortunate though, as this vet is just minutes away and very price friendly. However, Poopy is worth whatever it takes. cat_pet_icon
 
+4 128 and all dinner food gone, and wanting more. Gave 5.5 oz of 1 carb food to snack on tonight. Poopy has been a hungry piggie today!
 
Teresa it seems Bitty & Poopy are coming along well!! He's been running pretty close to 200 & sometimes below at AMPS. I've only done .5U both shots today down from 1U. Looks like maybe a pathway to progress & hopefully they stay on it! Here's to hoping they're both OTJ in no time!! flip_cat

Good luck with Bitty heading towards OTJ! That's wonderful and looks to be highly doable (is that a word? LOL).

I seriously doubt Poopy will go OTJ since it did take me a bit to figure out something was seriously wrong with him, and not the feared old age I thought it was at first. The poor Poop. I'll be happy keeping him as healthy as I can for as long as I can, insulin or not. :smile:

Yeah, the vet visit will be interesting at the least. One more day and we shall see.
