Yesterday's Condo

Just thought I'd stop by this morning and provide an update - I was hoping for a phone call from RadioCat - but it never came - they said they had five cats for the procedure that day - and they would 'try' to call me before close of business yesterday - nope, never got a call. So I'm going to say that's a good sign that everything went smoothly, no issues and will be optimistic until I hear otherwise.

I must admit my routine is turned upside down this morning!

I've just realized that it's been three years, almost to the day, since we started insulin - January 7 we started our daily routine and haven't ever stopped since. Luci is a testament to a girl with nine lives...

I hope she's doing well this morning and enjoying her fuds...they said as long as she was eating she would get her insulin which I'll be taking to them shortly...not a big deal...just a short drive up the road...then I'm going to focus my energies on other things - I'm sure you all know why...I don't want to wring my hands too much and just focus on her coming home on Thursday and then sorting out the radioactivity requirements ie flushing liter and cleaning any vomit, etc. with gloves and carefully disposing of cleaning items...lots of reading to do for that!

How is Luci? Have you heard? Times are so confusing, haha!

It's good that she can come home so fast. Over here after the treatment they have to stay there for two weeks. I'm glad Grem wasn't eligible for it and that his surgery was 100% successful. It was a risk though!
 
They called and said Luci is feeling quite well! She's purring, peeing, pooping and eating well. Apparently she purrs when someone comes by to check on her - until she gets a sniff of their hand and then realizes she doesn't like them and then starts hissing and acting nasty...yep, that's my girl!

She seems to be getting back to her old self rather well! Let's hope she's tossing those radioactive cookies right on out of there and will be released on Thursday as per the schedule. Seems like everything is on track as of today! :joyful::joyful:
 
That's great news, I'm glad she's doing well.
I had to laugh when you said she starts hissing and acting nasty.
I don't believe it not Luci :p
Hope she continues to do great :bighug::cat:
