WHAT's THIS???? A blue start!!! Remarkable! The first one this year! Luci is very frugal with her blue starts - I see she granted me one blue finish this year...I count my blessings :)

I had a great time at the Farmers Market and Art Show in Cape Coral yesterday. Parking of course was challenging, but I spotted someone leaving and was able to acquire a spot without too much searching. The ladies I was with were pleasant but no one knew where the art show was! Although my sis in law had been there before, she doesn't pay attention to the details and had no idea what was where - so we wandered around the island a bit before finding the show - and then once parked - wandered in the wrong direction to a lovely farmer's market - and THEN discovered that the art show was two blocks in the OTHER direction! Oh well...we made it eventually...but it was crowded by the time we were making our way around - and we separated because we all liked to look at different things - I was there on a mission to purchase a piece that I'd seen previously and the artist was going to be there! So I'd contacted her and gave her my dimensions....and finally found her...selected my piece and it's happily awaiting hanging by DH.

Today my son is arriving after traveling for a week - seeing the sights between Michigan and Florida via the Alabama route - which he's thoroughly enjoyed. So things are going to be busy around here for a a while - we're not sure how long he's going to stay here with us - as he wants to travel around a bit and may be in and out for several weeks.

Here are some pics of the farmer's market and art show - it was so hot by noon that I'd had enough (86 degrees - thankfully windy) so we had lunch and then made our way home. It was good to get out for almost an entire day! DH was on duty - but Luci wasn't doing anything exciting so he had an easy day of it :)

Hope you all have a pleasant day - thankfully that big storm that's been tearing across the country appears to have moved on - hopefully no one has had any damage or issues - I didn't get to see any comments on the forum yesterday - so hope to catch up this morning :) Sending thoughts and prayers to our little Boomer @Judy and Boomer.

Thank you Sue. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

OMG no lemons this morning. Well done Luci.

Now about the farmers market..... The first pic is all I need to see. All my money is spent there.

And I seem to like the line up of the birds (herons?). So many all lined up, I just like it.
