Happy Monday, Lantus Land peeps!!! Great news on the Trixie front today that she is feeling better but we are still sending a bucket of vines to her and Sasha, Minka, Harvey, Skinky, and well wishes for hoomans Paula, Mary, and Amy's Dad.
Missy G is having a good morning (anti-jinx). She was sound asleep curled up next to me when Mike got home at 3 a.m.; she climbed on his pillow, gave him a couple welcome home Daddy licks and then came over and flopped down on me. About 10 minutes before the alarm went off for her +10 check (how does she know??), she got up and started doing this funny ritual we've often had when napping where she headbutts me and then gets as close as she can and flops over on me. It's hard to describe but very funny because it's not like she lays down....she literally just falls. Then she gets up, headbutts me, falls over on me...purring up a storm, talking quietly. I felt bad when the alarm went off and I had to poke her since we were having "a moment"....or several!
Thank Heavens for a green day!! Maybe that means tonight will be lovely, flat normal no bounce and no low numbers. She's on cycle two of the reduction. Paws crossed but with as full as her depot likely was, it will be a good six cycles before we know if she's holding it, I'm guessing.
We appreciate the visits last night, Ruth, Ella, Anne, and Serryn. Sorry I missed them but a friend called late in the day and came over to watch a movie right after T/F/S.
