Hello, LL! I did it again, forgot my condo and started posting on others :lol: I'm trying to wake up, my body wanted to sleep but my brain had stuff to do so no btb @-) Yesterday: Chyna 1/11

I am super happy to see a yellow AMPS today! Much better than stinky pinky, so maybe the bounce is cleared. I went ahead with the dosecrease, to 3.75u. Yesterday the appy was off and I had to spoon feed a few times to get her going, she was interested in the spoon but not the bowl :roll: . She hadn't pooped, so I gave her a tsp of oil in the evening. She did eat most of her fuds overnight though. We finally got pee last night, negative ketones :cool:

Chyna was very happy today compared to yesterday...but she did have a bunch of poo overnight so that may have improved her feelings. It's hard to want to eat if you are full in...shall we say, other areas :shock:. She even walked up her stairs and sat down in the ear testing/pokey place to wait while I set out the supplies :-D This morning she ate half her breffis, then I bowl chased her to the bathroom rug where she ate the other half, weird kitties :lol: She's now snoring away on that same bathroom rug :cool:

Hi Rachel,
Looks like Chyna is surfing in the sunshine! Happy to read that she is acting better, had good appy, and was able to empty the other end ;-) Food always tastes better when it has room to flow :-D

Hi Rachel.

I totally agree about the yellow AMPS. Much better way to start the day than pink. I'm glad Chyna was able to make room for food today. No wonder she was feeling off yesterday, and better today! I think we have all had a similar experience. :oops:

Oh dear, I think I spoke too soon on the fuds...shes licking her lips a bit today :sad: . I decided to give her Pepcid AC this morning at 10am, I was just giving an evening dose for the past 3 months but maybe it's time to go back to twice. It took a few days last time for it to "fully" kick in and get the appy back. I ended up sprinkling catnip on her 9am meal to get her to eat, which did work. Thank god she's a flat yellow cat today! I wonder if the cartrophen is upsetting her tummy, or if it's the CKD, or the high glucose :shock: Or just being a cat...

I just spent and hour and a half shovelling a path from my deck down the stairs and to the gate...fire exit, just in case. I've been putting it off...Whew I'm wiped! And I only did maybe 1/8th of the deck! Chyna is napping in the spare room as usual. She just took a few bites of her 1pm lunch...come on sweetie, eat your fuds nailbite_smile

Keep on sliding Chyna. Yellow is a good start, but we are looking for blue today! Paws crossed for good appy.

Sorry about all that snow you are having to shovel. I feel like I'm getting a workout just reading your condo everyday. :lol:

Thanks Wendy, I wish you could do the snow shovelling workout instead of me! :lol: I should be skinny by spring...maybe Chyna will give us blue later?

Well, pink PMPS...I was NOT expecting that...I was thinking flat yellow cat, yellow PMPS...guess she showed me! I should know better that to expect something :lol: I wonder if we'll ever have a day with no pink or red :roll: hope this is just NDW!!! It's only 1 little drop more, Mr.L, and you've seen lots and lots of low numbers so you should be used to them, not these ;-)

Time for my supper now, BBL :-D

I hope she's feeling better now and eating. Poor Chyna! And I'm voting for NDW.

You crack me up :lol: :lol: don't have a heart attack doing all that shoveling!
