She seems to be feeling a little bit better right now. I just finished her 3rd syringe, plus she did eat a teeny tiny bit of Fancy Feast on her own. The syringes are coming in at just under 10mls each, so it's not a lot, but I know I can't rush her right now. I spaced them by about an hour and a half. When she and I both woke up from a bit a snooze, she was very head-butty lovey-dovey, which is very much her style. I'm still not sure if this is/was p-titis or something else that caused painful gas. Her frequent visits to the litter box to try and poop despite being empty and her visits to the water bowl have both stopped after we did fluids....I guess she was still dehydrated even though we gave her a small shot of fluids in the morning, to0.
I had a discussion with the vet about the fPL last spring, and she was just getting too many test results that didn't jive with the cats she was seeing. She did used to use it, but she felt id didn't give her useful information.
