hi LL family,
need to be quick as i'm at work and gotta get back to slavery here....
this is what the vet had to say re the aspirates they did on the pancreas and liver from Rocket's u/s last week...
The liver aspirate was well differentiated liver tissue, nothing atypical.
The pancreas aspirate was well differentiated pancreas tissue. Pathologist does not appreciate any inflammation or significant variation.
Liver is probably fine, and this is consistent with nodular hyperplasia. The pancreas, it is possible inflammatory or neoplastic cells were missed in the aspirate, however pancreatic cancers typically go fast, and his hasn't, so maybe a more benign process that may slowly become a problem with growth more so then function. But cannot say from these tests.
Got the final on urine- no growth, so no infection
he is eating ok...good day vs bad days...Monday this week I thought I had almost lost him...too long a story...
i guess he is proving every one wrong and I know he has many here praying for him and i thank you all for your support...means more than words can ever say.....
i will try to get a copy of that report and see if I can get someone (2nd opinion) read it over and interpret it for me to be at ease......
praying for those kitties that are unwell....
