Jo, that is so precious. While mom is fretting Ozzy is snoozing@LizzieInTexas Lizzie- know how we are so stressed about kitty when we are at work? Well this is what they are usually doing!
Hubby went home and caught a +2.5 and this is what he found when he got there...
Ozzy wanted to say that shaved tummies are all the rave right now (post hospital!)

. Hope that helps set ur heart at ease.. What a cutie and how sweet that hubby thot to take the pic
Awwww, sweet boyOzzy threw up before his dinner.
He has thrown up a couple times in last week. Not sure why... Maybe anticipating food. He was hungry when we got home. He gets a snack 4 hrs before dinner but I recently removed the snack 2hrs before dinner. Wonder if that has something to do with it??
This might be closer to the truth! Haha! I did have to shove him in a few times. Don't think he has figured out how to get in yet. But he was super playful when he was in it. Then he threw up when he got out.Or maybe he's just thinking "this crazy lady keeps shoving me back in here so I guess I'll stay here awhile until she goes away"....LOL...

@Beth 73 Ha Beth! Looks like I am having a long night tonight, too! Thankfully I am off Friday. Oh wait...it's not like I get to sleep in anymore.And I am believing tonight brings you all easy numbers and extra sleep![]()
He usually does. Tonight he did throw up after his dinner...but I think it was from all the excitement of his new hammock.Awwww, sweet boy....I hate it when they throw up ...upsets me more than them , I think . Jo, does he go ahead and eat and keep it down after ???
What time in the cycle would you suggest this?Have you ever tried giving him something like a little piece of baked chicken later in the cycle? Since it's a pure protein, it shouldn't effect his numbers but would give him that "late snack" that might help with his tummy
Now?Cute pics today. I would do a little MC.
Now?
Or when?
Ok, thank you for clarifying. Will go grab some for him now.She meant now....try to slow him down sooner rather than later.....just a little ...a teaspoon or 2
Thanks for breaking that down.There's no strict numbers that I know of, but I generally see something like:
LC= under 10%
MC= 11-16%
HC=16%+...but I think most of us go for 20% or higher when we really need to pull out the HC
And there's that pesky "ECID" thing you have to figure in there too.....that's where good record keeping really helps out so you find out what works best for Ozzy
Wendy, thank you for your comment. I think we may have cross posted. He came to the kitchen a few minutes ago and I have him another tblsp of MC. Are you recommending I give him more in addition to what I just gave him? When should I test again?I would give him another 1-2 tsp of food.
Yes, will post back when I do. Still some time to go....He's flat but had some carbs so you want to make sure he's steady once they wore off. Can you get a +5?
ok, thanks.Don't feed him anymore and test again in an hour
Yes, mama is SOOO tired. This is 2 nights in a row.Looking good tonight Ozzy but mama needs to get some sleep soon, OK?
