Want to eat, and wants to eat BAD, but can't. I tried to explain to him about his dental, but he doesn't want to hear it.

Will be checking back in when I hear something....wish him well!!

Good luck with the dental. The hardest part is not being able to feed them.
We will be waiting for the update.

Don't you just HATE Dental days? :roll: It has to be done though. Shiver...I really hate the
thought of the whole scenario. And now you wait...but still, Spot will be doing so well after it is
all over with. Wishing him well today...

Spot's dental is done and went well....he is waking up now and I can pick him up whenI get off of work at 2:30. He had one lower toofie extracted and the others cleaned. Blood work was really good....BG at the vet was.......145!! Not bad considering he wasn't real happy about going there.

When I dropped him off and walked out the door, I turned around and saw that he had turned around in his carrier and was watching me walk out the door....Soooo...I had to go back in and sit with him until they took him in the back. I didn't want him to think I was abanding him.
 
aw poor little Spot, and what a nice BG at the vet's.

So glad to hear it is done with! Time to spoil Spot at home with snugglies and cuddlies. cat_pet_icon

Poor baby is still groggie. He sang very little on the way home, I'm sure due to being sedated. Brought him home and let him out of his carrier and the first place he went to.....his feeding spot! LOL...the piglet...of course he didn't have any fudz since 10 pm last night, so I'm sure he was really hungry. I gave him a very small amount, a little less then a tsp. and then got a test. He's coming down nicely. He is now in my bedroom, on his window seat, with the door closed so that he isn't being bothered by his civvie family.

Be back w/pmps....maybe w/a question in regards to dose, maybe not.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and good vines. They certainly helped. Spot sends his thanks too!!

Stress-free, as you can see by his lowering numbers.

Went to get him from my room...he was sitting by the door waiting for me. Ate his dinner and did some grooming afterward. He is walking around some, doesn't seem to want to be by himself...actually, he is now in the litter box, peeing.

Will offer him another small meal in about an hour.
 
HOORAY--Hooray Hooray!!!! Dental all over & Spotnik is all well & bootiful toofus!! So glad only one extraction!! That is GOOD!!!
And he came home & ate right away--Also Good--Happy day for you --The stress is over! Moonie had 2 dentals already!!
ANd no scarf & barf by Spot!--gotta be careful after those dentals...HUGGIES~! :thumbup cat_pet_icon dancing_cat
 
Hooray for a good dental! Lucy didn't want to be by herself either, I gave up on that very quickly. Actually she was more snuggly than usual the night of her dental, so I took advantage and cuddled her to death. :lol:

getting back to normal already. Going to give him another small meal and then head onto nini. Tummy doesn't seem upset at all, he just sits around looking off into space. Will feed him another small meal around +7.

woke up early and decided to get a test. He is feeling better...gave me a little furry purry at test time (didn't do that at previous tests) and he is now waiting at the feeding place for a snack!

Glad that Spot is feeling better this evening.. and so glad that everything went well today!

Just being home with his mamabean is a comfort.. and enjoying a late night snack means he must be feeling better.. :mrgreen:
 
I'm glad that the Dental went well. I always have my heart twisted in a knot when I know one of my babies is having an anesthetic. It is stressful even though we kn ow it is necessary.

I bet he'll be his old self tomorrow. Get some rest.
