We started off great until the fur shot. UGH! It seems like I am shooting all the way through the tent. I just did the same thing on 1/2. Any advise? It's so frustrating.

Thanks for that post. I did actually feel to see if I went through before I plunged and I didn't feel the needle so I plunged. Go figure......hopefully some did get in him.

I will try that technique Carla, thanks for that suggestion. Maybe it will prove a better method for me.

Wow, what a shock: +2 - 116 after a fur shot. Hmmmmm

I spent some time looking at shot technique videos and I think I learned something to help me. Hopefully, tonight I will do better.

Yeah, I saw the insulin on his fur. Now at +3.5 he shot up to 197.

I hope watching the vids helped some, like Carla, I go for the rolling the hand, I was having trouble just with the tenting as BFG pulled his belly in tight when he felt me pinch, sneaky cat.

Gee, I was multi tasking today and didn't get to visit as much and not sure I even finished anything. For a furshot he's looking great and Mr. Bubba will recover very quickly for you. It's hard with all their fuzz sometimes.

Darn fur shots (says the pro at them ). On the up side you get good sleep tonight and Bubba gets a pokie break. He'll be back to green in no time. It was nice to see him start that way for the second day in a row.

Sorry to hear about the darn fur shot, I hate them! It can happen to anyone, but it sure is frustrating! I still shave Rupert around his neck and shoulders, just to make it easier for me, it would be much harder with all that long, pretty fur of Bubba's. Just remember how many times you DON'T miss.
