Nice start for Trix...maybe she caught wind of the dosecrease threat?

This is what I wrote last night about Zen's vetty visit yesterday...lots to think about.

We had a Looooong vetty visit with Zen tonight. Overall, he's doing much better than he was this time last week. But - like Petey - he has lost 2lbs slince last summer. Scary stuff - although I DO think he has already started to put weight back on since we got rid of the Blue Basics. There are so many roads we can go down...more food trials, biopsy, ultrasounds, probiotics, various parasite tests. My head is swimming, but overall, DH and I are generally convinced that we're still just looking at food sensitivities, given all that we've been through over the years. We're going to try a brand new approach to food...it goes against the grain of "cats", but we're going to try a simpler food with a lower protein level, higher fiber level, and different source of carbs. It's all so complicated with the triplets...and with all the info we got tonight, it's even more so....

We did have bloodwork done, too, and we'll probably have those results on Friday-ish. We're curious to see if he has the same elevated calcium that Petey has/had.

IN general, though, he is doing MUCH better since we eliminated the Blue Basics...

And, we got Mario's ashes back tonight ...

I have a very long day today...we're vending at one of the local Farm Markets, then after that closes at 5:00, I'm back at our store till 8:00. If I don't get to condos today, please know that everyone is in my thoughts and prayers!!

Morning Amy, nice cycle for Trixie and hope she has a nice surf today, Very interesting with Zen and the food sensitivities. Sending positive vines for the new food approach. Do you have a food in mind yet or still researching? Keep us posted. Your kitties are all so lucky to have you as their Bean. Enjoy the day, sounds busy, but something different and fun.

A very nice start for Trixie today - wonderful numbers, and I bet she finds the lagoon this morning. Go for it Trixie!

Good like with Zen, with the triplets. Food makes such a difference on so many levels. I wish you luck with it all, and I hope that food will solve all the issues.

I'm still at work and DH is BIC for a little while longer, but she surfed the greens right into PMPS. Needless to say, no dosecrease tonight!

Hi Amy, Interesting to hear about your feeding plans. Please keep us all posted on how they progress. Have you tried the Tropical Traditions Coconut oil? Marje uses it to maintain Gus's weight. Apparently it is very tasty to cats and also prevents hairballs.

We are so glad that Mario's ashes are home.

Trixie is doing great today!! Beautiful numbers!! I havent gotten the coconut oil yet, as Moonie is not easy to feed as it is...but I will ...

Glad your baby Mario s home with you again..One of the things we saved from our house was all our animals' ashes, as they are one of our greatest treasures..Hugs & Much Love from us!

I'm sorry that you have so much worry about these boys and I hope you figure it out.

((((Amy))))..... I know it was yesterday but I wanted you to know I am thinking of you. The day the ashes come back is so very hard.
