Good Evening, Everyone,
Wow, I'm really getting a late start. Rusty had a nice, flat, low-blue day, ate well, took his "lung treat" eagerly, and spent lots of time in his various beds and basket. He didn't want me to go to do my volunteer work at "Winterfest" this morning and even came up to my study while I was getting my stuff together. It was very touching. The boys had a nice morning together and I was home by lunchtime.
It was +1 degree F. at Heart Lake, in the High Peaks, for most of the morning and my helping to set-up exhibits work was all outdoors. Thank goodness I brought handwarmers to put in my mittens. I met some nice people and got a "thank-you" gift--a ski hat, a book, the ADK Calendar--and a bag lunch. I really envied all the people who were going to try out all of the neat things they had available (Nordic ice skating; curling; x-c skiing; etc.), but my hamstring injury is still bothering me and I didn't want to compromise my "recovery" (such as it is). I'll test it on Wednesday on a snowshoe hike with friends.
To visit a few condos now. If anyone with medical/drug experience can take a look at the following thread in "Welcome to the Group" you might be able to help Skinky44. Her situation is dire.
I see that she just posted on Health, too (following my advice).
911. possible Cryptococcosis. Please Help
