1/10 OTJ Update - PM +1 245

She threw up, then she started meowing an unusual meow like she didn't feel well and she was walking around the living room and hopping on the couch like she didn't know where to go then, used the litter box. I tested her and she was at 245. I gave her a tsp of gravy lovers beef. She's acting fine now but I'll test her in 10 minutes.

Update. I looked in the litter box. She must have had a tummy ache because she had diarrhea. She, then was walking around and more relaxed. I could tell she was feeling better.

Since she's been in remission for awhile and is acting sick today, I think I'd get her in for a vet check if she's not better by morning.

I don't think it looks like she's coming out of remission but any infection, inflammation or pain can cause the BG to be a lot higher.

Why did you give her the high carb Gravy Lovers?

Oh, shoot. The gravy lovers would make it higher, wouldn't it? I got so nervous and was shaking. I forgot everything I learned. I have to tell myself to stop and think things though before I act.

She came out of hiding. I tested her and she's at 264. She's acting fine.

That's OK...a little bit of gravy here and there isn't enough to throw her out of remission. I'm sure she loved it!
