1/10 Monster AMPS 75, +2 67,+3 85, +4 74, PMPS 81

I'm sorry. That's horrible especially since you're most relying on the Libre. Hopefully the new one arrives fast. Sending PAWsitive vibes for that.
Other than that she had a beautiful AMPS today.
Keep surfing sweet girl
🤗✨🏄🏻‍♀️💚🐾🐈‍⬛🥰
Thanks! She does have a beautiful AMPS! She now has 2 sensors on her that aren't working that I need to try to get off. I have no idea when any new ones may arrive. I haven't seen a tracking email on them yet. And I am definitely letting them know about theses 2 that died since I talked to them.
Thank you again, we need all the pawsitive we can get right now.

I hope you can get the new ones soon and these 2 refunded!

I've been thinking about trying a libre but they really seem unreliable.
I just got the tracking email and they should be here Monday.
I'm spoiled with being able to see constant numbers with her. The Libre are such a blessing and such a curse at the same time. I didn't expect this much trouble with them. It really takes alot of patience and practice with them and I'm still wanting to use them, or try to use them. I'm stubborn like that. Of all the sensors, I have had ONE stay on her and last the full 15 days. I think this one makes number 8 that have failed in one way or another. I know @Staci & Ivy have been using it longer and might have a better experience to share. It's good to know the good and they bad I think, before you decide to try them.

Hi Regan, did the new sensor give you errors right away? Did it ever get up and running?

The only thing I’ve had happen is when Ivy is in green BG numbers (on a handheld meter) when the sensor is activated, it seems to glitch and I then got an error and an 8 hour error message.

Since Monster is normally in green numbers, (which is the goal of course) the Libre may “read” those numbers as being a faulty sensor (my guess).
So it’s possible that’s why the sensors keep failing (since she is surfing for hours on end in that range).

I’ve had sensors fail if Ivy spends many hours in green. It shuts down.
(Ivy doesn’t have such good green numbers all the time).

So it’s “possible” once a cat is much more regulated, the Libre may just not work very well. It could be what is going on with your sensors.

It’s good news (regulation) bad news, not being able to use the Libre.
😘

It did start up like normal. The reading I got from it was very close to her meter reading. Then a couple hours later it went to sensor error, check back in ten minutes. Then after that it said to replace it. The errors it shows are unable to read BG.

I've seen where people who use them and stay low and regulated didn't have a problem with them. But since there isn't any research on cats, it's hard to say, and cats are in lower greens. My hope is that we won't be needing them soon (fingers crossed) and won't have to worry about it. Also with having the one that worked perfectly for the full 15 days, I'm hopeful that can happen again. Or maybe I'm just delusional that it will.

Was she in all greens with the one that lasted 15 days?
I’m curious.

I still think the sensor can’t handle green numbers for long stretches (it sucks for us).
