It's entirely possible that the stress of the new puppy is keeping Gizmo's numbers higher. If you are more comfortable waiting until Tuesday to increase, I don't think anyone would blame you. But, I don't think I would wait much longer than that. Of course, you could consider trying a .25 unit increase now. I doubt that would take him too low, but it might give him a nudge into better numbers. Unless Gizmo reads his condo and sees the dosecrease threat!

I’m thinking about increasing Friday night. I can’t leave him in these high numbers all weekend. If need be, I’ll just have my mom check on him on Monday. I have tried the .25 increases before. They never seem to work for Gizmo.

Always good to Know Thy Cat. I think you could increase by 0.5 whenever ready to do so. But I agree that I wouldn't wait either. He's barely seen high blue.
