Cleo has 4 P's in place this morning. Her appy was pretty good. She is traveling in and out from the catio.

OT - We had something that sounded like a pack of wild dogs, fighting just over our fence in the back yard last night. It is wooded back there, and one of my neighbors said that he saw coyotes(!) back there. The fighting sounds started fierce and quick, lasted about 2 full minutes, and stopped just as quickly. My droolers went crazy, civvies came running in from catio, Cleo, who was inside, went calming walking out to see what the ruckus was all about. It happened again about 2 hours later, again so vicious it really scared me, bushes and trees rustling and shaking, then stops just as quickly. I am afraid to let dogs out in the dark now. I have a spotlight, but it doesn't shine far into the woods. I am being extremely careful nailbite_smile

TGIF!!! Vines to all kitties and beans in need♥

Re: 1/10 Cleo AMPS 167

I hope you have a good day and Cleo has another good cycle of blues and greens.

Interesting on the dog's fighting. I would go check out that area once it becomes light outside, just in case a vet needs to be called or something.
We had coyotes in California, but they were smaller (than the ones over here on the East Coast) and not to be feared. They mostly would eat bugs, mice, and small rodents. The east coast variety, I have heard may have interbred with domestic dogs or wolves to become larger. I would supervise your dogs when outside and keep your cats inside, until you figure this out.

Nice start for Cleo this morning. I hope she gives you another nice blue/green surf today. How scary on the coyotes. I wouldn't want to let my droolers out either. I'd be careful about letting the kitties out too. I hope everyone stays safe and the coyotes move on to somewhere else.

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a great start for Cleo today. yestedya was nice too. heck, all her days are nice. Surf well little one!

Oh wow on the coyotes. One hopes they move on. I'd be extra careful too. Maybe check it out during the daylight hours. That is a tad bit on the scary side...

have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Re: 1/10 Cleo AMPS 167

Looking good again this morning Miss Cleo!
I'm with the others, I would go check it out and keep the cats in and monitor the droolers. Tis the season for breeding/territorial issues  We had a huge issue with large cross bred yotes back home and my mother was saying the other day on the news, this couple put up a 10' fence around their yard to keep their dogs safe. It didn't. Coys hopped in like nothing and it sadly didn't end well for one of the dogs...
Be vigilant and fingers crossed they move on!

Very scary on the fighting...do be so very careful!!!

Cleo is looking great today! Have wonderful day, Jane!

Re: 1/10 Cleo AMPS 167; +1.5 156

Our catio is screened in, but even the kitties could break out of a screen if they really wanted to. Yard is fenced, but only a 4 ft chain link. DH checked the area he thought the fighting was coming from, and sees nothing unusual there. He does not think it is coyotes, as we never hear any howling. We have had raccoons fighting viciously up in the trees, but they did not sound like last night. Hope whatever it was has moved on~

Re: 1/10 Cleo AMPS 167; +1.5 156

I'm sorry about the scary noises/fighting! I'd keep everyone in as much as I could, too :o Cleo is looking lovely in blue today and sounds like she is doing pretty great, yay! :-D TGIF, Happy Friday!

I think it's a great idea you keeping your babies inside where it's safe right now. You just never know. I hope they move on as well so you can let your droolers out to play and know they will be safe. That must have been very scary for you.
Cleo sure is on a very nice floor right now. I hope she continues with the pretty colors
