Yesterday's Condo

Have I mentioned lately how much I like blue? It has always been my favorite color. Cinco is being so nice to treat me to plenty of it lately, and I'm very pleased. However, he's only doing it during the day, so we need to work on extending it to the evening/nighttime hours. He seems to be hanging out with a good group in the grotto - Skooter and Simon are keeping him company, although Simon keeps wandering off to the edge of the lagoon.

Had to break out the Mirtz this morning for the girls. Combined with Ondansetron and a change in flavor, it worked great for Minka. Sasha still needed those darned treats mixed in! I do think she has me totally trained.:rolleyes: Harvey, meanwhile, acted like he'd had Mirtz without ever getting any. He could not get enough food. I have been giving him small amounts, spaced, to avoid scarf and barfs, and he is not a fan. However, he's held it all down today, so I feel vindicated. :p

Our usual Saturday night dinner and cards with friends won't take place this week. I seem to have caught a head cold. :blackeye: I feel fine, just runny nose and sneezing. I didn't want to share my germs with my friends, so we'll stay home with the kitties tonight. Not that this is a bad thing! ;)

Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.

I too am fond of blue, but like you, would prefer a slight green tinge instead of this yellow stuff they keep handing us. Come on Cinco, more blue please.

Sending you tons of vines and hoping it's just a case of light sniffles. Good of you to stay away from friends and not share.
 
Yes, we do like the blues, although as you said, Simon has not made up his mind if he would rather be blue or green (or yellow or pink!).
Tricia, I am sorry you are not feeling that well. Sending lots of healing vines to you.
Sasha is one smart kitty -- will not eat unless those scrumptious treats are mixed in. Ondansetron is one good medicine, isn't it?

Yes, @Georgia and Simon, Ondansetron is great. So is Mirtz. Sasha's kicked in big time and she about took my hand off when I offered her a plate of food. After polishing it off, she was looking for something else to eat, so I opened another flavor of FF and she dug right in! Love it!!! It works better some days than others. She doesn't get the Meows like Minka does, so I give her the full 1/4 tablet. I only gave Minka 1/8 of a tablet and she was fussing. She ate, though, so it's worth it.

I actually feel fine. It's just this annoying faucet of a nose that is driving me crazy!! Time to go stock up on Kleenex at Costco - between DH's flu and this cold, we're gonna run out soon.

I have decided Cinco, China, Simon amd Skooter need to hit the greens and surf nicely for all the beans...

I hate the sniffle, I shall buy some stock in kleenex.....mind as well have something good come out of it :p

Hope the sniffles go away soon....and congrats on beating @Wendy&Neko at posting a condo first lol

Dinner went well, except Minka needed a different flavor (this is becoming a recurring theme), which she ate happily :rolleyes:. Sasha ate like a little three legged horse. Harvey is still not liking the small and spread out meals, but I'm tired of cleaning my carpets!

Cinco's off to a decent start. Now, if he will just listen to his aunties......
 
I'm glad meals are working OK with the herd this evening. They keep you busy! I hope your cold and Mark's flu dissipate quickly. You are very kind to not share your cold germs with your friend...I wish my customers were like that! Today, I had to teach a woman who called of work sick because she was actually sick...but since she didn't "have" to work today, she decided to take a beading class instead. I was SO mad...I'd better not catch it!

Get some rest and feel better. Keep eating, kitties!
 
Glad everyone ate today even if it required a little encouragement for some of them. Ahem....girls. Also hoping Cinco will decide to hang out in blue a bit more.
