Good Morning LL!! (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! OOOOOOOOO! They have perfected their NY Style hot dog pies. MAJOR YUM!!!! Try one, you'll see! Just order the Mannie and Stu Special! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fave, and a Caturday tradition! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great week. ;) The days with the boys have been good ones! We have been very busy, that part of life has not changed. Will it ever? ;-) NOPE!! :):):)   It has been an interesting week! We have been swimming, when we could! It is the time of year when pools close for maintenance and cleaning, so that has limited us. Been busy indoors mostly, as the weather has been rather wet, with lots of heavy rainfall, and cold, at least for Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday our warmer temps were back, with awesome sunny winter afternoons. The boys were both feeling great again :joyful: :joyful: :joyful: so off we went. We have been to parks, lakes and rivers, to museums and science centers. It has been awesome to be busy again. Life is good! :woot:

Thursday and Friday Night were our only swimming day this past week. :( Our regulate pool was clsoed all week for cleaning, and Nicholas's fave FR night pool just does not have any opens swim times in the morning.... bummer! A smaller pool in Mountlake Terrace was open with times that would work for William, so he was able to swim on Thursday while Nicholas was in school. He seemed to like it ok, but it just doesn't have all the fun "toys" that his regular pool does. I had thought of taking Nicholas there on Wednesday, but knew he'd be bored after a few minutes, as there is no deep water (only a shallow beach type area) access for him, no slides, etc.... We hope to be back to our regular swimming schedule next Monday. YAY!!! Nicholas has really missed the pool! Nicholas continues to be our energizer fishie. That I think will never change, he just has so much fun with it all. He continues to LOVE the new pool we started going to a last summer, in Snohomish. I was so grateful that they are open, no closures set for them. It really is a wonderful experience, and he can do alot of the things he likes there: like the slides, the lazy river, and deep water jumping and diving. The big high in the sky tube water slide is now his favorite thing to do, and it is our main focus when we go to this pool. OMG!:eek::eek:      . Now that is all he wants to do when he goes there. I do have to admit: it is FUN! The guards there continue to let him do that slide on his own, something that has made him very happy. We all just love pool days, and are grateful that we have the pools and the time to be able to do this. GO NICK! GO WILLIAM!

Nicholas still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast I know I write this each week, but that is just so fun: burgers and fries, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. He was so happy to see that burger and fries combo show up, just like always. Somehow I think that is part of the magic of Friday night swims: that he gets burgers etc after his swim. He still makes a point of making sure I have packed it all, and asked when I met him in the morning. GREAT TIME! :) LOVE Friday nights. Last night, well every Friday night, Nicholas told me it was his favorite night of the week, that this day was the best day ever. Me too little man, me too! :woot:

and..... still no hiking for me this week! Bummer! Weather has played a huge role. We have had heavy rains, rivers are at flood stage, avalanche warnings are in all the mountains, so... I've stayed put. But the time with the boys was a great offset, and we did make it out as much as we could, so I remain content. I can during post hike season do the local trails here several times over, and make a decent distance hike out of it all. The local trails here just never disappoints. Life continues to be good. I hope once the busy-ness that comes with holidays is complete that more time will open up for more hiking on my off days.
Monday and Tuesday found me doing local hikes, when I could.... It was so WET here, the rains simply did not stop for two days.:cool::stop: I spent what time I could, with getting SOAKED at my usual haunt, Meadowdale, taking in what can be a great woods hike. We did get a short break on Tuesday, even a SMALL spot of sun, so off I went to explore. Tuesday morning I also met up with my son, Anthony, for breakfast. We meet every other week for some great food at a family type pancake house, and catch up on the latest happenings. Bug has a vet appointment later that day, with his Cardiologist, for his annual recheck, and echo, to make sure he is still doing great. HE IS! :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Wednesday I was back with the boys. :woot::woot::joyful::joyful::rolleyes::rolleyes::) Although we had decent temps, the fog had also returned, primarily in the mornings. So I thought we'd try a new children's museum that I had heard about, but have not yet visited: The Imagine Children's Museum, in Everett. Plans were to stay in, then outdoors for the afternoon. That museum was incredible! both boys loved it, and neither of them wanted to go home. They have the most creative interactive water play areas, a great tree-house, etc etc etc, as well an a really great outdoor playground equipment set up on the roof. LOVED the roof set up. The fog was still with us at that time, noon, but we played up there anyways. Imagine children's Museum in Everett ROCKS! Wow, that was impressive, and will now be in our regular lineup of places to go when the weather is awful. Both boys just loved the place. After much discussion, we went to Juanita Beach for the afternoon. Predictions were for sun and 55, which ended up being the case. :):woot: There is a creek that runs along the edge of the park area, for all intents and purposes it is just like being out on a river. Sure it's urban, but the boys just see a river, and were so happy to be on one. They did all the tings they would do in the wilderness on a river, had the best of times. We fed the ducks, played on the beach, wow, nice time!

Thursday was a school day for Nicholas. He has been so glad to be back, after two weeks off for Winter Break. While he was in school, William went to the pool. The weather was much the same as Wednesday, with a foggy morning, and a cleared afternoon. Though Thursday the temps were a bit cooler. I have wanted to take the boys to a new park I visited a few weeks ago, Silver Lake, which is close to my house, maybe 20 minutes away. It has a beach area, similar to Juanita Beach, and also a great playground area. So... off we went! :woot:  Boys had a great time. It was cold though, think it hoovered around 41 when we were there. The playground stuff is in the shade, so that was a bit chilly, though they didn't seem to mind. Beach time was fun, and warmer, as it is in the sun, and both boys played till they dropped. There was this little runoff "creek" that ran from the top of the beach to the water. They constructed and reconstructed that, built onto it, dredged it, added a bridge, and made sure it flowed to the water. We threw a ton of rocks, and waded in some, played with the ducks some too. Well William did. he had his boots on, he knew it, and made sure he got in it to wade and throw his rocks from there. I had to haul, him out a dozen times, yet he still flooded his boots.;) FUN stuff. So... Looks like we can add this on to the OK to go to list too. It will be a nice summertime alternative for some outdoor beach swimming. HOORAY for Silver Lake!

Friday was a day with Nicholas and William, and was our free day. We were still cool, well even cooler, 36 at 9AM, and all fogged in. We all decided just to make it an indoor type day, and venture out in the afternoon if time allowed. Nicholas wanted to go back to the Pacific Science Center. They both just love that place too. We ended up spending the day there, visited and interacted with all that they offer. They have a tropical butterfly house that really is great. That was a highlight yesterday too. We sat on the edge of a small pond there and watched all these wonderful tropical butterflies fly around his, even had a few land on us too. :cool:We never really did make an outdoor adventure after that. They have some interactive water exhibits there, so we ended up spending time with those. Our science center here is a good one, a great chance for the boys to learn tings, discover what makes things do what they do.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cat::cat::cat: The kitties are doing well, and are adjusting to life without Christmas, Christmas trees and shiny decorations. What will Lola do without it.... I fear for my house plants, once again. :banghead: :stop:  :nailbiting: :nailbiting: . Bug is doing well too. He has been quite the social kitty over the holidays, spending alot of time with whomever was over for visits, and continues to do so. He had his annual recheck with his cardo vet, to evaluate a reported heart murmur when we adopted him, on Tuesday. He did very well! It was great to hear that his murmur continues to be a soft, low level one, centered around a leaky tricuspid valve. all chambers and walls are of normal size, with normal blood flow in through the other valves. and (!!) No evidence of heart disease. YaHOO! So.... we do not have to go back for a year and a half. AWESOME! Elsa is doing well too. I have been trying a new way to feed her, as she is a grazer, and I have felt for some time that the others are eating what she is leaving to snack on later. Anytime I see her in the kitchen she gets a spoonful of food, an amount I know she will eat in one sitting. This continues to go well! Keep on truckin' Elsa! Things are looking good for out kitties. Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cat: :cat: :cat:

Have a great Caturday everyone. Sorry this post it late today. Time this morning, and the days, have gotten away from me. At least the shopping and the laundry are done. YAY!!! I hope for some outdoor time later today if the rains Will stop.... Tonight my youngest son's band has a show in Seattle, so off I go for that.

KITTIES!! Remember: BLUE, think GREEN :cat:

For fun, and just because Mannie was on my mind this morning, here is a classic Nicholas and Mannie video. It was always my fave, as it is just so indicative of the friendship that these two shared. Nicholas was about 15 months old in the video

ETA: no clue why some of the text is a different color.... it was all the same when I previewed it. :banghead:
ETA II: Yahoo! Fixed it. Thanks to Wendy who clued me in on it being akin to a link. so.... clicked on the unlink icon, and voila, no more funky text color. SWEET!

Michelle, thanks for posting the classic Mannie and Nicholas video. That was my favorite, too, especially when Nicholas puts the food on Mannie's back and then takes it back and eats it! Too funny! You have been one busy lady lately! Hope you have a terrific weekend and thanks for the update on your family.

Hi Michelle. Go SEAHAWKS!!!

This weeks weather really put a damper on some activities. The fog was pretty incredible. It sounds like you found some acceptable indoor activities for the boys (and yourself - WOOT on that water slide!).

Great news on Bugs echo results. :) Do they shave him? I'm probably taking Neko again in the spring and I'm so glad the place I go doesn't shave. I've always loved the Mannie/Nicholas sharing video - it really shows the bond between the two. :bighug::bighug:

The blue means you've turned some text into a link. I've done that too. I find it's easier to just type all the text I want, then go back and highlight the part I want linked, then select the little chain for linking. If you add a link as you go, then keep typing, you need to insert a return, then backspace. Dunno why, but it's what's worked for me.

I'm with Georgia my favourite part is the Mannie marinade so cute! And also the way Mannie swiped the food over teeheehee

Hi Everyone! Less than an hour to go to game day! GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Hi Georgia :):coffee: I will have to dig into the Mannie archives and see if I can find more. The ones with Nicholas are so darn cute! Yupp, this one is my fave, for the reasons you stated. And many thanks, weekend is great so far.

Hi Wendy :):coffee: So agreed on the weather! It has been so wet here, and then all this fog! sheshhhh! yupp, we have found some good indoor stuff for the boys, kept that which were big hits, discarded a few. The new one in Everett is a for sure keeper. THX on the video. I really think that it shows that bond too. They were such good buddies. I was very ahppy with bug's echo results, and to know that nothing has progressed since last year. HAPPY DANCE !
@Wendy&Neko : they did not shave Bug. YAY! THX too on the text info. I kinda figured that is what happened, but just couldn't get it fixed! I will try what worked for you, maybe I can get it fixed. ETA: Clicking on the "un-link" icon took care of the problem. YAY!

Hi Serryn :):coffee: LOL. and YUPP on the Mannie marinade! Well said. :) Mannie was such a good food swiper! Fastest paw in the west!

Hi MicheLle, and Lola, and Bug, and Elsa, and Nicholas and William.
Whew. I see you are still having more fun and being busier than most anybody. Great pictures as always. I love William smiling underwater. I saved a picture like that of Nicholas when he first started swimming. And now Nicholas is blowing bubbles underwater! Cool. Your indoor days look like GREAT fun. I'm jealous. (Does Bear stay home now? I missed him on the pictures)
It's great to hear all the furry ones are doing well. Please pass out scritches from me.

ELSA! Perfect coffee and mochas. yUM. Can I have lots tomorrow? I have a big, long day and I have to help the Packers all I can. I can't be slouchy.

Mannie video is wonderful. His little arm reaching onto the highchair to grab a cracker is the cutest. Nicholas was so gentle at such a young age. A lot of loving going on between those two. Thanks for sharing.
Xoxo Mary and ollie

Hi Mary! :coffee::coffee::coffee: LOL, yes, busy busy busy, but we all love it. Sure is fun with those two little boys. :):):) Wow, you saved a photo of Nicholas underwater? COOL!, I had no idea. William is proving to be much like his brother, in that he too loves the pool. Yes, Nicholas is: LOVES to blow bubbles underwater. He makes sure I take lots of pics of him doing that. Really kinda cute. On Bear: they are still there, still travel with us, they just don't make alot of the pics. My hands are so full with the two boys that I'm afraid I'm, of they, are gong to loose them, drop them somewhere etc. We came close so many times with Nicholas and his bear that with two of them now, well  I worry.... so both boys still travel with both their bears, just not always in the photos. I need to start doing that again. THX to on that video - such great memories of those two: both gentle giants.
@ecurie Auntie Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You betcha on tomorrow! I will be there, with LOTS, and can come back as often as need be. Hmmmm on those packers.... think Seahawks too, 'K? ~~ Elsa, kitteh barista!

Hi, Michelle! I LOVE the Mannie and Nicholas video. They had (and still have!) a wonderful bond.
I'm glad Lola, Bug, and Elsa are well. Yay for Bug's recent positive vetty visit!
:cat::cat::cat:

As usual...PHEW after reading how active your week was :woot:!!!

That is one of my all-time favorite Mannie videos. I remember when you first posted it! Nicholas and William look SO much alike!!

Wonderful reports on the kitties and the boys. Poor Lola must be bummed that the tree is packed up for another year :(....better hide those Kleenex boxes, too! I'm so glad that Bug's murmur is still benign, and that you've found a way to get snacks to Elsa.

One day last week I turned Trix's entire condo into a blue text link...I had no idea how I did it, and short of deleting the whole thing, the editor wouldn't let me fix it - and I used to be a programmer :eek::woot:!

Have a great evening, Michelle!

I love the Mannie video. That is a great video. I'm so happy Bug's vetty visit went well. I'm glad the kitties are all doing well. How nice that you've found some new places to go with the boys. I hope you had a good time at your son's band concert last night. What time did you get home?

Hi Michelle- as always, you've been keeping super busy I see! What an absolutely wonderful Mannie video- thank you so much for posting it!! :bighug::bighug: It brings tears to my eyes, the love between Mannie and Nicholas is so special! Also brings to light just how grown up Nicholas is now!!! I am so glad to hear that Bug's appt went well, whew!! We absolutely love the Imagine Children's Museum- my nephew and his wife found it for my 2 grandnieces, so we go there every time they visit, twice a year! They change the exhibits around so that even the 10 year old loves every minute spent there.! Have a great rest of the weekend- go Hawks! :woot::woot:

Hi Michelle,
What a great condo! It was wonderful to see the Mannie and Nicholas breakfast video again. It's one of my favorites, too. Very special! And great news about Bug's heart murmur. You must be so relieved. Poor Lola will have to savor her memories of the Xmas tree. I hope she leaves the houseplants alone!

Glad that you got out to Meadowdale even though the weather was not ideal. It sure looks wet in those pics! I like the pic you took of your shadow during the one moment the sun was out. I did a similar pic a few years ago of my shadow on the snow on a sunny day. Fun!

The Imagine Children's Museum looks fantastic. Wow on all the stuff they have there--everything from xylophones to dinosaurs! I can see that lots more trips there will be taking place during the next year.

Have a great week, hopefully with better weather. It's good that the pools will be open again.

Elsa, Kitteh Barista, we love your :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Good Morning LL! :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!

LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! :cat: Life is GOOD! Coffee is on, Lola and Bug , founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are ready to go! Want pizza? it is MEGA GOOD! They are busy getting ready for.... uh.... I dunno! but there sure is a flurry of activity in the kitchen. Something about perfecting football pies, as they are super excited about their very own Seattle Seahawks and the playoffs. I keep hearing GO HAWKS coming from the kitchen. Weird to see pies that look like footballs, green and blue footballs.... so. well. anyways. :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... and orange drizzle! SWEET OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine has been good, mellow, but busy at the same time. Our weather has been odd... rains on and off, mixed with fog. today and yesterday. The weathermen PROMISED sun today early on. All I see is fog, and more fog.... I sometimes wonder if they ever look outside when they make their forecasts.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: I do love fog though, and hiking in it. So.... made two trips over the course of the past two days: Saturday, and Sunday. What great time out and about in the local woods here. Shoreline was great too, all enveloped in a fog layer. Last night my sons band, Fallen Angels, had a show in South Seattle, so off I went. Odd thing was is that the Seahawks payoff game was in the same area of Seattle.:eek::eek::eek: . It was nice though that the timing of it all worked so that I missed all the Seahawks traffic, which mildly put, is AWFUL! Band show was great, they played well. It was a late night for me, but worth the latest of my arrival home. They will be doing another show next Caturday too. How cool to see that they are finally getting gigs. SO FALLEN ANGELS!
The photo album linked above does have one of the videos in it, thought I'd post another through YouTube, if anyone is interested. Be duly warned: they play heavy trash metal: loud fast ad furious. :joyful: The lead guitar you hear is my DS Matt. He's the guy on the right, in the sleeveless Metallica shirt.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday LL. I am off in a few to attend a swim meet, local. My DS DGF Sydney now coaches the younger kids at the club my kids swam for. So I think I shall go cheer her on some. Coach well Sydney! I may wrap up my out and about with a sort visit to Picnic Point Bach on the way home.

Hi Josie! :coffee::coffee::coffee: How wonderful to hear from you! I so agree on that bond. It was so special. Nicholas, and William, get along so well with my other cats, but it is nothing compared to hat he shared with Mannie. THX so much on Elsa, and Lola, and Bug's well being! ;)

Hi Carla :coffee::coffee::coffee: THX on that vid. it is my fave. They were such good friends. Inseparable friends. I too am glad that we have found some new places for the boys. They were both great ones! The show went very well. I so enjoy hearing by son pay. I think I got home about 10:30. That as not too bad, but late for me. It beats the shows I have been too where they didn't play until midnight! :arghh:

Hi Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee: yupp, we are back to being crazy busy, but having such fun doing so. I so agree on that vid , and how much alike Nicholas and William look. So so evident when you see Nicholas at that age William is now. LOL on Lola, she does miss her tree. As I thought she went right for my plants, but seems to have decided to give that a rest. We have had two plant-less days. Too funny on the tissue boxes, I had forgotten how she rips those apart too. Such an adorable kitty! :cat:
Oh yes on that blue test.... @Amy&TrixieCat - I tried the chain link x icon to change it back, and that worked. maybe give it a try and see if it will fix yours. Highlight the affected text, then click on the x'd out chain link. It should revert it to normal text. At least that worked for me.

Hi Ruth :coffee::coffee::coffee: THX so much on Mannie's video. He was one of a kind.... :) They had such a great relationship. Funny isn't to see Nicholas way back then and see now how much he has grown. How cool that you have been to the Imagine Children's Museum. I wish We had gone sooner than we did, a few years "wasted" ;) I am considering a membership, as the boys really want to go back. Great place! lvoe the roof top play area. That was great! GO HAWKS!!!!

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee: many thanks on the condo! I loved that video, so so indicative of their friendship. I had been thinking about it after working with CD to get Mannie's video links in my sig working again, and thought I'd repost it, knowing.hoping that those that remember Mannie would enjoy seeing it. Yes, very relieved on Bug. I had thought he'd check out OK, as there are no outwards signs of any heart problems. It was a huge relief to have his cardio Vet confirm that. Well... yes on Lola! We had one/two days of her ripping apart the plants, but she seems to have reconsidered the error of her ways, and had left them alone for a few days now. Paw crossed! THX too on the pics. I remember that shadow one. I like to take those kind of shots, kinda puts is all in perspective, adds the human element too. and yes: WET!!!! Yes too n that museum - it was GREAT! I think I may have to get a membership, which would be good: it will pay for itself with just two visits a year. I know we will do more than that way more...
Auntie Ella!!!! :coffee::coffee::coffee: You so totally ROCK! See ya with some hot cocoa this afternoon, it is too colds there to go without! ~~ Elsa, kitteh barista

Michelle,

That is one of the best videos I have ever seen. Love how Mannie keeps reaching over to get whatever Nicholas was eating and Nicolas is so gentle and loving with Mannie. Very good video indeed.

Terri

Morning Terri :coffee::coffee::coffee: Many many thanks! They were indeed quite the pair. :) They would always share breakfast or lunch, kitty toys, kid toys. and those nanners! I swear Nicholas was the only one Mannie would let touch or play with his nanners. Such great memories!

Good Morning LL :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: (LOTS! I just love :coffee: ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!

LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! :cat: Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! :woot: In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. :coffee::coffee::coffee: Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... OH! forget it... no tuna mochas. BLECH!:arghh::stop:

tuna pizza 2.jpg

Happy Tuesday LL!! I hope the start to your week is going well. And that everyone had a great weekend. Monday was a busy one here. HAHA, seems all days here are busy ones...:joyful: Monday was our normal, and it is SO GOOD to be back to normal, Monday, with a joint swim day for Nicholas and William, with the other DGP's too. It is wonderful to have our pools reopen this week, and get back to swimming. :joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful: Nicholas and William were so happy to be back in their home pool. Both boys played extremely well together. Nicholas was very patient and waited for William to catch up so they could do an activity together. William is getting much more steady on his feet in the water, which enables him to do more with his brother. YAY! They went on the slides together, played in the big pool together. So so cool! Nicholas ability to stay under water has increased, darn amazing. I hope you enjoy the photos, as there are so may of the two of them together. I LOVED that aspect of yesterday in the pool. We stayed for 2.5 hours yesterday, a long time for William. He was SO TIRED by sessions end. I bet he slept well that afternoon.

My usual Monday trip to Seattle was canceled, as the friend I meet had to stay home since her daughter was sick,. Bummer on both counts. I decided that since the weather was great that some out and about time was needed. The pool area has a very nice short one mile trail that runs parallel to it, the Mesika Trail, so I walked that for a bit, before heading on down to Picnic Point for an afternoon walk on the beach. By that time the sun was shining, the skies were a vivid blue, and the weather was warm at 51. What a great afternoon on the beach. The tide was also out so I was able to walk a good 4.5 miles. :woot::joyful::cool::):):) It was a really nice day.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille here today. :cat: The kitties are doing well. Elsa likes her new feeding schedule, Bug has been ever so playful and cuddly too, and Lola continues to be Lola. She still is into everything. ;) I have noticed though that she is mellowing some, not much, but a little. I truly believe she is part Maine Coon, and is true to her breed. She's about two and a half years old now, maybe it is time for her to mellow some. Ah heck, who am I kidding... she will never ever be mellow Lola. o_O :woot::woot::woot: She has been such a wonderful addition to our furkid family.:joyful:

Enjoy your day today LL!! I am meeting a long time friend of 40 some years today for lunch. We used to work together back in the day, fell out of touch over the years. I heard from her the other day, wanted to get together. AWESOME! It will be great to see her.other than that..... the house needs cleaning. :stop: haha, we shall see on that....

KITTIES!! Remember: BLUE, think GREEN :cat:

Boy did I have a lot of catching up to do! I'm glad the boys are well again and can get back to swimming! Lola may have mellowed a bit. Emma has, shhhhh don't let her know that i said that!:p She's still up the posts and over the roofs, but liking to sit and cuddle a bit more too.

Ow cool to be getting back together w/ an old friend. We lost contact w/ so many when we moved out here.

Yay for getting back to normal swim time for the boys. I'm sure they were very happy about that. I'm glad the kitties are doing well. I hope you have a good visit with your friend.

Hi Michelle- Happy Tuna Tuesday!! Glad you could get out and enjoy some sunshine- that fog was really getting old! Where I live, it is an everyday thing creeping up from the snohomish valley at sunrise. Lola sounds like the spice of the household- I bet she misses her Christmas tree! How neat you got to see your son's band perform- and how very very fortunate you did not run into Seahawk traffic- that is a miracle!!

aw, i love this video! had to watch the whole thing. Mannie's so cute when he reaches up to grab a goldfish (FD friendly, no doubt!) and I love how Nicholas tries out the goldfish after putting them on Mannie's back. What a sweet love they shared! It's so precious! thanks for sharing, michelle.

Morning everyone! :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: Elsa has been very busy this morning, lots of brews from our favorite kitty barista. :cat:

I hope you week is going well. Yesterday was great for me. I met an old friend I haven't seen in close to 10 years. A lot of catching up to do. :joyful::rolleyes::woot: Sure as fun. Since I was in Seattle to meet up with her I decided to pay the Pike Place Market a visit before I went home. I love that place. All sorts of things to see, lots at and even buy. We have alot of local merchants that maintain booths/stalls there. and the seafood markets within are awesome. What a great time spent there.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille. :cat: :cat: :cat: Kitties are all doing well. We have had sunny cays, but are back to the 30's, and just too cold for them. All have been cuddled in their beds, even our local cray kitty Lola, or Missy Lola as Nicholas calls her. It's nice to have them doing well, no issues to report. One happy bean! Even Lola has been good.... I keep waiting for the otehr shoe to fall... I am sure she is just waiting for that perfect moment to shake tings up a little. :nailbiting::stop::woot::woot::woot:

Have a good Wednesday! It is back to the boys for em today A swim day fr Nicholas, and then hopefully an outdoors adventure. We have sun today, or so they say, so outside is a given for us. They both love outdoor days, and the pool? A given very fun time.

Hi Ann :coffee::coffee::coffee: Wow, Emma too? You description of her activities sounds like what Lola is starting to do. Still wild and crazy when she wants to be, but also spends more time lap sitting, some cuddling. Really is nice to see that side emerging. and I swear I won't tell Emma you said that. ;) Has been great to get he pool back to normal. YAY!!!! :woot: I so agree, we loose contact with so many good friends. I was nice to reconnect with one yesterday.

Hi Carla :coffee::coffee::coffee: oh yes, both boys were very happy to be back ion their regular morning swim time pool. They had such fun there. THX too on meeting with my friend. it was alot of fun. We hope to be able to repeat the time again soon. .

Hi Ruth :coffee::coffee::coffee: I know (!!), and could not agree more on all that fog!! I like fog, but the sun was so much better. it was so sunny in Seattle, and then I get home to a blanket of fog that just kept getting thicker as the afternoon wore on. Shesshhhh!:rolleyes: We ahve a tendancy to get it alot too, being right off the water here near meadowdale. if anyone will we will. oh yes on Lola, she is the life of the party! HAHA! Me too on that traffic! Show was great too - THX!

Hi Julie :coffee::coffee::coffee: ah THX! My fave video. I remember when I posted that video way back and all the com, ents that came in about those fishie crackers being FD friendly. HAHA :woot::woot::woot: of course they were!:joyful::eek::eek: :cool::cool::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: I can remember too all the comments on Nicholas putting those crackers on Mannie's back.
