Happy New Year Everyone!!! Well after a rather yucky PMPS last night of 344 for no apparent reason I woke up this morning to a Tori with cold ears. That always means a lower blood sugar. I'm pleased with this 165. A good start to the day .

WCR- Breakfast has been eaten and a bath is currently being taken. After that I'm betting it's nap time under the Christmas tree. She loves it under there. She better enjoy it while she can because it comes down tomorrow. All is well in Tori Land.

Happy New Year, Barb! Nice AMPS for Tori, much better than the yucky pinks! I hope she enjoys her nap under the tree, ours came down already because we have a cat named Pita...and she is one...who won't leave the tree alone. Even Tinkles was bothering the tree this year. I'm not complaining, it shows he feels better!

Last night was my first attempt at free hand poking...not something I want to continue. I can't imagine giving Tinkles a shot in his belly, I always shoot when he's eating because I'm needle phobic...I have enough trouble giving a shot period, never mind having him aware and maybe squirming! It makes me shiver to think about it!! Yes, ECID and EBID too...

I hope 2011 is a happy, healthy and wonderful year for you and yours!

Well would you look at that! A green preshot for Tori. Not a common sight for her. I decided to shoot the 1.75 seeing I am home tonight and also the facts that she gets her Prednisolone and I've been looking for better numbers and I have shot this low before. It seems that it would have been counterproductive not to shoot. I will be surprised if she doesn't go up and stay up but then we are talking about Tori and she does like to surprise me on occasion. We'll see how it plays out. It may be a long night.

WCR- She's had a real good day. Lots of playtime and cuddle time. She's a happy kitty.

Oh I have to laugh at the cold ears thing, because this was a big debate about 2 yrs ago!! If cat's ears are warm, higher BG, cold ears, lower bg--
I personally think it's true, but then wadda do I know :lol: :lol

Well that's less of a food spike than I have been used to lately. I think I better get a + 4 tonight to be safe. Maybe Tori is looking to joining the PJ party tonight. She hasn't been to one for a long time.
