Decided to do a curve to see how Sammy was taking the higher dose again. He was pretty good through the whole ordeal. His poor ears crunch when I stick him. Vet says it's scar tissue. seems to hurt him more too.

:sad: poor baby. i think i scarred punkin's left ear when i was learning - it's like there's no blood left in it. we do all the testing in his right ear now. not sure if it helps with preventing scarring, but making sure it doesn't bleed after you get your sample prevents bruising.

Yep, Sam's right ear is the same way. Bleeds easier than the left. I try to alternate ears when I poke him.
