Happy New Year!

I'm really not liking this new sensor. It is reading her way higher than she is, 30 points or so, I keep hoping it will adjust or correct but I feel like it's dangerous in thinking she's so high when in reality she could be going hypo. I know that's drastic, but I don't see how I can trust these readings. I haven't experienced this issue with them yet, only when it was reading her lower and that was scary enough!

This is very unsettling, especially when I go back to work today. Of course it's when I go back to work, it always is.
I'm just not sure what I can do. I don't have another one yet.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with another unless the company is giving you free ones to replace all the screw ups. They've been less than helpful, and I would think the crazy numbers are driving you more batty than if you only got readings when you were around. You do get a good number of readings as is. Heck, I only averaged 5 total a day with Nico unless he was going hypo. The onset I think is one of the most important, as that gives a big heads up into what the day will be like. And I don't remember any huge differences from amps to onset offhand with Monster. Maybe it would be easier to give her time without and just manual. It's how many of us poorer folk manage. Just a thought.

The company finally answered me and is in fact sending our first replacement. I know it's been stressful but I feel like I'm flying blind without it, if that makes sense at all. And you're not poorer folk, you're just cheap

It really is addicting using that stupid thing. It will be like going without one because I can't trust the readings on it right now. I get what you're saying though and I am relying on the ear pokies more so now. But you know Monster she has to give me something to worry about when I go to work!

Uhm, I'll have you know, I'm both! And obviously you've never read her contract. Cause constantly throwing your mother constant curve balls is a part of the gig.
