Happy New Year to everyone in L&L Land!
We are starting the new year in green!
It's barely below 100 and essentially the same number as yesterday morning (103), but it sure looks a lot better on his spreadsheet. And it's encouraging that Walter's numbers are trending down a bit. Now let's hope that both boys can keep it up.
It was a very quiet New Year's here. I guess there's one good thing about crappy weather: there are very few people standing around outside shooting off fireworks. So none of my animals cared.
I am about to head out for a bit to help look for a loose dog. Tigger was adopted from the shelter where I volunteer 9 years ago and got away from the dog-sitter on Saturday night while her family was out of town. Her family jumped in the car and came back right away, but there hadn't been any sightings until last night. So they are getting a search party together today. I really hope we find her. Tigger is 13 years old and is probably scared to death out there.
