Not exactly the way we wanted to start the new year.....

Jenks dove 150 points in the last four hours of the cycle to open up the 31st with a 120. From there, he cruised along the mid-100s for the remainder of the day. That night, however, he was up in the high 200s at the overnight feeding. Apparently, the rise didn't stop because this morning he breached the pinks and more or less remained pegged there for the last 12 hours or so.

I'm sure it's a bounce from spending 12 daytime hours in the blue, but it's no less unwelcome.

Jenks is in the midst of a new year's polar plunge. Currently down 230 points in the first half of the cycle. So we're seeing a little of everything today.

Getting some 9% food on board with a karo drizzle to hopefully stall him out. Otherwise, it's going to be a rough ride into AMPS.

Down another 10 points, even through the food and karo kicker. Pretty strong cycle. Luckily it's showing itself early instead of a half hour before AMPS. Carbed him up with some 18% gravy and some more karo. Hoping to spike that number to get it ready for AMPS because he'll almost certainly continue on down until AM+3 or so.

Looks like we got his numbers up into a safe zone. Even with an hour left, I'm sure he'll come down a bit. I won't be surprised if his cycle ends up looking like the 30th when he came down from a similar number to hang out in the 70s for the first quarter of the cycle.
