Welcome to 2015!! We hope everyone had a safe and fun NY's Eve. Don't forget to eat black-eyed peas today for good luck for the coming year!
Many healing vines to Calley, Skinky, Clare, and any others who need them.
Missy G and Tobes have been wild again this morning. I am going to have to think of a good gymnast's name for the Principessa. Mike and I were in our bathroom this morning and they came racing in with Tobey behind Gracie. She came to a screeching halt, he bumped up against her butt, she no kidding did a front paw stand, flipped around, and took off

They have been mesmerized by the thawing snow this morning....yes...I said snow!! As in "white stuff".
Mike had an overnight in Tucson last night but I had to leave a little after +4 to go get him. When I got the 50 at +2, I thought I better toss some carbs in the mix. I walked out of the room, came back, and Tobey was quickly disposing of Gracie's food while she just sat there. Not knowing how much she got, I thought I better give her some more (without the karo). Judging by the 98, she got more than I had originally thought. But when I got read to leave and opened the garage door, it was a veritable blizzard and the snow was sticking; I had no idea how long it would take me to get there and back so I tossed some more carbs down. I think between those and the dregs of her insulin pen, it shot her up. Oh well...one cycle.
We awoke to a winter wonderland although it all started to melt when the sun came up. I did start a new pen today as the other was down to nuthin' really. Mike is home for the day but I have to take him back to the airport at 5; he has one leg to San Diego and then to Phx and he'll be home so I won't be on the board during the day....but will be back tonight since he won't be in until late. We are watching bowl games now and getting ready to eat an early dinner. And how about those TCU Horned Frogs (my alma mater) killing it in the Peach Bowl!!!

Have a wonderful day!
