Happy Sunday LL!

It's been a long time since we've been on. School started, nursing for Dad quit, and I've been down with vertigo but you'd rather hear about Julia. She's doing great! We haven't seen a yellow number in awhile and I can tell she's feeling better! She made a run out of the front door when we opened it to go out this morning and I can't remember the last time she tried it. When we're testing her she makes herself into a slinky. She starts out standing and slowly sinks down, even getting so low sometimes that her head is hanging off of the table. I can't do anything but laugh. When we test we kind of have our arms around her, not holding her per se, but blocking her way to get away. Now she'll start rubbing her head on our hands and then slowly sink down and try to go under them. She's a pisser. Jules loves sleeping with Dad and has no problem making herself at home on his hospital bed. Mom was changing his sheets the other day and she had to be right in the middle of everything, even going back when I moved her out of the way. She's a lot more vocal in the mornings, too, and will follow us around the house talking to us in her squeaky meows.

I haven't weighed her recently but she feels bulkier, not like skin and bones when she first got sick. The water drinking is almost none. I very rarely see her at her dish. We still add water to each plate of food so she is getting it and of course she has dishes down around the house, too. I have to remember this when I worry when there's not a littler box full of pee.

We're still on the S0.5 and have been for some time. It's not necessarily being aggressive but her numbers have been pretty good considering. If she goes into the higher 100's she usually doesn't stay there for long. I'm thinking we could take her back up to the full 0.5 and see if we could get her even lower? We're kind of in a holding pattern as life is crazy here. There are days her shot time bounces a bit though we always try to get it within 30 minutes of the 12-hr mark but it's hard some days. Even still, she's never missed a shot so I feel we're doing okay.

Also, I think some of her bouncing at night and in the early morning is due to the fact that she's still in the bathroom over night. We still don't fully trust that she'll use her box at night and so she goes in. It's a huge room, she's got food, water, a bed, and everything she could need. Still, I think she does get a bit stressed about it as she clears some higher blues pretty quickly in the mornings once we let her out. She goes in about midnight and is out at 6 when I get up so it's not a long time either.

We want to send healing vines and prayers to all kitties and beans in need including Marje and family. Pssst-Jupiter - eat more for your Mama so she won't worry so much! China- we love that you're liking lower numbers more and more, but 22 is a bit over the top! Can we compromise on a higher lower number, maybe?

Hi there:) It's always great when kitties start to feel better and put on a little of the lost weight, it's a relief :-D I don't give dosing advice but hopefully someone can lend a opinion! Have a great evening

Julia's numbers do look good. It's wonderful to hear that she's back to her pre-FD spunky behaviors.

I agree with you -- you have a little bit of room for an increase. When you feel like things are settled down, you can increase whenever you're ready.
