J.D. hasn't eaten that much yet for Breffis. He wants to go outside on the deck. If I allow him outside, then I have to let Ginger out too, and last night I found her running home from some neighboring condos (crossing a street nailbite_smile ).
I think I'll put Ginger outside on a leash and hopefully J.D. will eat some more once he's had his deck time.

I guess I'll take him to work with me, today.

J.D. got his drink of water from his watering can, and then ate his Breffis on the deck as is his habit.
Ginger decided to come back in the house through the sliding glass door while still tied to the deck, with her leash wrapped around the mum plants ourside and J.D. I now have the loop end of the leash around my hand while she sits in the chair next to me, so that I can keep the door open and allow J.D. his deck time and keep tract of her at the same time.

P.S. I'm not sure if I should still be giving J.D. bupe or not. I wasn't sure last night and finally did around +1.75.

I don't know if I should take J.D. to work or not. He is happier at home, and after eating his 1st Breffis and cleaning his bowl and Ginger's he went to the YAZC and munched down on that, and now at +1 he just ate his 2nd Breffis and most of Ginger's 2nd Breffis, so is eating fine.
I wish he would just be easier on his legs when jumping off of things.

I have to log off and get ready. I'll see you all tonight.

I'm glad to see that he's eating better. This is always good news! Wishing for him to make a full and speedy recovery. Try and have a good day, Dyana. :YMHUG:

I'm glad J.D. is eating for you. I hope he is feeling better. Sending prayers for J.D. to continue to get better.

Sounds like a complicated task to allow both kitties out but without letting Ginger expand her comfort zone!
I don't like Lucy jumping off of things either.
Does he use a kitty steps/stairs?

Anyway, hoping that your day at work went quickly and that J.D. ate during the day while you were gone....sending healing vines
to him and feel better vines too. Sounds good today though...so that is good news! Shadow is always jumping down from things...
(Raja doesn't though...she has little short legs....) But he sails up into the air when he jumps. It is a beautiful thing to behold!
But I hate when he jumps down...onto the tile floor. That tile does NOT give at all and I fear it is jarring his shoulders and the joints
on his front legs. But, he always jumps from the top of the table and not from the chairs that I pull out ... sigh...

J.D. climbs up the spiral staircase he has on his cat tree and then either climbs onto the back of the couch from there, or jumps off (at least it's carpet). This morning he jumped off the couch onto the bitty piece of hardwood in my house and I felt it was hard on his legs. On my 30 inch high bed, he has a box that he climbs up on and then jumps up onto the bed and I moved an ottoman from the livingroom into the bedroom and put it next to the bed and he uses it usually to get down from the bed, but the other day he jumped right off the end of the bed onto the floor (at least it's carpeted). This better not all be because he's on bupe and thinks he's invincible.

He was yellow most of the day at work, and compared to the past couple weeks, the flat yellow makes me happy. He ate pretty good at work, and felt a lot better than the Sunday before.

Hoping and praying he continues to improve.

Right now he's out on the deck and I need to get the kitties in for the night as darkness has fallen .. and it's getting near time for bed.

Don't you just hate, when they don't understand they can get hurt? Checks jumped from the kitchen counter all the time.
If I tried to nonchalantly walk around to pick him off, he always jumped first. Grrrrr! He never did hurt his shoulders like I thought he would.
Yay for J.D. for eating well! :-D

I'm happy to hear that his appetite is still good!
That's great he even ate at the office!

Lucy sometimes jumps down even though I create a lot of placed she can step down. :-x
Makes me wince.
 
Happy to see some yellow tonight and to hear that J.D. is eating a little more. Sure wish these black and white kitties would eat more fuds and feed better. :YMSIGH: Hugs to you, Dyana.
