Thank you everyone for your very powerful prayers and thoughts:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Thought I had lost my little girl yesterday morning. Very grateful to the Lakeville Animal Control Officer who rushed Amethyst to New England Animal Medical Center, I had no money nor anyway to get her there ,he saved her life. Very grateful to NEAMC who admitted her and treated her even tho I had no money to give them. Her eye pain is causing her alot of pain and stress ,that is triggering severe Asthma complications which caused the lung to collapse. She was in oxygen and given nebulizer treatments, they slowly weaned her off of the oxygen and watched her closely. I am afraid they messed up her insulin, because I was told she was not given any insulin this AM BUT her numbers tell me a different story. That is fine as long as she is home with JoJo and myself Once again Thank you!!!:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh my goodness Pamela :bighug: You all have been through a lot in the last 24 hours! So glad to hear Amethyst is home! Sending prayers for more healing :bighug:

Oh Pamela I'm so sorry, I truly wish I had the money to give you so you can take care of her eyes, did the pain meds get there yet?
Did they send you home with any
I'm praying this doesn't happen again
I just wish there was a way we could all help you :bighug::bighug::bighug:♥♥
God Bless that Animal Control Officer for rushing her to the New England Medical Center and that they treated her even though you had no money

Don't find many places like that around
I just wish that Dr Donohue would do the same for her eyes.
I remember you saying

Dr.Donohue is very expensive, a good eye doctor but with no empathy towards people who do not have much money

I wish he would make one exception and treat her free of charge

I'm so relieved to hear she's home. I didn't comment when I saw she had been rushed to the ER yesterday, I shut my laptop off and bawled for a little bit and said an extra prayer for her. Please give her a gentle hug for me. :bighug: I am so glad the animal control officer stepped in and the hospital took care of her for you.

I just found this list ... hoping there's a few resources you haven't tapped into yet for her eyes.

If anybody is interested, Pamela has set up a gofundme for Amethyst's eye surgery. Not sure I'm allowed to post the link here so please PM her or myself for the link.
