Hello everyone!

Today was the day that I had to leave early and go to the office, and I've been backing up the shot times all week to accommodate my early departure. Everything was on schedule until DBF announced that he had fed Chispa 45 minutes before AMPS, oops. I tested her at -.5 and got 89, then 103 half an hour later, when the food had set in. So aside from the mixup, the good news was that after all my worrying about leaving her alone all day, DBF turned out to have the day off and was able to hang out with her. The bad news was, I did my first fur shot this morning. I was convinced that I would never do that, but I guess it happens to all of us eventually. Her numbers are higher today, but not so bad, all things considered.
Hope everyone had a great day today. :):cat:

Did any insulin get in? It's like the universe conspired to allay your fears about leaving her alone all day :-)

I thought of that too.:) And I would almost suspect myself of subconscious underdosing, except that I already knew DBF would be with her all day. Not sure whether any insulin got in or not. I think so? There was that strong smell and a damp spot on her fur, but it seemed like a small amount of liquid.
