J.D. got his Denamarin at PM +11, and ate all his 1st Breffis while I stood over him, and was about to walk through the door to go outside, when suddenly I changed my mind and closed the door and told him so. It is all wet out there, and yesterday when J.D. came back in with wet feet and then used the litter box, he had to have a foot bath to get the stuck on litter off.

I had a tough day at work yesterday, and when I came home and did a little more from home, it just got worse.
I went to WalMart to get J.D.'s syringes, and asked the Customer Service person if I could special order 60 to 72 cases of FF. She said maybe, it depends upon what manager is working when you ask. I can do this at my grocery store, I would think I could do it at the WalMart. Anyway, I'm not even sure I'm going to do it, yet. But the Customer Service lady did say they were "unloading the truck right now, can you wait a few minutes, and I'll go see if what you want is on the truck and get it for you?" She apparently doesn't know what 1500 cans of cat food looks like.

:lol: :lol: We all stock up on kitty can food! My home is like a godown; cat food, cat litter and now Rosy's test strips! Can you imagine the bags of litter Ive to stock up? Whenever my neighbour asked me how many cats Ive got, I just mumble ; 7,8... :lol:

I was getting my trunk load (two full shopping carts) of stacks of cases of FF and Friskies at PetsMart last year, and another customer smiled and asked me how many cats I had. I said "two". "But their big". and then I jokingly put my flat hand out at my side like they were 3 feet high. Her eyes got real wide and she quit talking to me :lol:

LOL. I don't know why people have to act so stupid if you are stocking up on something. I've had dumb comments before when I've been checking out. I wish I could have thought of something like that so say. :lol:

I'd have to say you've got me beat. I'm trying to get stocked on the current low carb canned foods since we are trying to do the emergency preparedness type stocking of foods ( like the mormon's who do a years worth at all times) I have maybe 6 cases of friskies ( but gravy types) in a closet that I don't know what to do with now and I used to have 8 big bags of dry. I yanked all the dry out and took it to the garage for the outdoor cat and threw a bunch away. ( didn't want to make the raccoons diabetic by dumping it over the fence :lol: )
1500 cans would be 62 of those little cases. ($975 for fancy feast cans at my store- yikes)
okay... now I think I'm going to go calculate a years worth of food.... you've got me on a mission.....
no wonder I can't afford groceries .... ohmygod_smile

Yeah, not sure I want to go there either, even tho bulk is cheaper! I spend at least $200 every time I walk into PetSmart, and rarely that much at the grocery store. I buy 4-5 flats at a time, but I should really buy more and stock up. We just get lazy, and any stores we have get worked through rather than saved up. :roll:

I get the "how many cats do you have" thing too...I wonder if there's this latent thought that women are all secret Crazy Cat Ladies with 15 cats and 2 litter boxes.

J.D., get out of the blacks for goodness sake! Not acceptable!!!
