Yesterday a nice overnight surf with LC food for Butters.

She made up for her lack of purring and playing lately by purring non-stop for the entire night and having the zoomies at 1am. I have never had a cat that purrs as loud as she does. It can be heard outside through an open window, so I am surprised the neighbours didn't report her to the noise bylaw officers.

Have a great day.

LOL! I'm glad she's gotten over what ever it was that was bothering her yesterday!

That's a sea of green! WOW! I hope you can get some sleep soon...you could probably go to once every 3 hours on your night time testing...let that girl surf...and sleep too :) Looks like she nadirs around 3 t 4+...

Have a great day Lyla! Splendid job you're doing with her...:D:D

I have to say one thing about this lousy COVID...it's keeping the kitty parents home more...lots more testing and I believe I'm seeing more remissions...perhaps there is a silver lining in that nasty COVID cloud?

Thank you for suggesting I could switch to every three hours on my nighttime testing. I glossed right over the word "nighttime" and ended up testing her every three hours today. That error aside I didn't know that I could lay off the testing a bit overnight, and so will gladly do so. I'm not trying to win any awards for my helicopter parenting skills here.

I am incredibly fortunate that I am still mainly at home, for sure.

Have a great evening!

Just in case I was getting too used to Butters being in the lagoon, she thought she'd remind me who is in charge. I rechecked her, but it is accurate.
Not sure if this is of note, but I am using a new, different food for her tonight. One that shows 3% carbs on Dr. Pierson's food chart, so it shouldn't have any impact.
I'm probably just looking for a reason for her numbers where there isn't one.

Dear Butters, Jax JUST left the beach. Just turn around now.

For the food, can you double check it on the manufacturer's site? Some percentages have changed since that chart was made (my example is Wellness Complete Chicken Pate - it went down in carbs from 4% to <1%).

Even if Butters hangs at the beach, she'll realize her mistake and head back to the lagoon :)

Hope you had a great day!

she was checking out the fishies at the reef :p a short way from the lagoon :D;)
I don’t blame her one bit for doing that! :)

lol. I’m glad he found his way back. I figured he would. :D
Yep, I checked. Still 3% carbs on the mfr’s website. Wish I could blame the food! Don’t think I can, unfortunately.
