new day on levermir. numbers so high! is this normal???
also I had to post my boys shaved tum! ive been informed about the shaved belly club.......we want to join ;-) so heres the pic. yes hes a fatty bum bum but were working on it!!!

edited to say................ the shaved tum signifies for us an end to it all. EVERY scan,xray negative! although unsightly,its a huge positive result.now just a case of getting him regulated! easier said than done!!

It takes roughly 5-7 days to build up the depot when you start a new depot insulin.

So yes, the glucose can be high until that happens.

Yes. If you were on a slower acting insulin it will take a while for Lev to build up in the system before the numbers come down reliably. They might fluctuate a time or two but give him that long to settle then start tweaking.
