I don't think it is. He has been slowly creeping up the past few days. I am going to give a dose of Cerenia and a half a Canna at the +2. He doesn't act like anything is wrong or he is in pain.

I wish I better understood how pancreatitis impacted FD. And the mechanics of what is going on with him. I don't understand why he was down to 0.25U (and doing well) at one point and now we are going back up?? Does that mean he is getting worse?

A cat's insulin needs can vary over time. Many things, like pain and inflammation, can impact the numbers. The beta cells are fragile, healing may be on and off. Going up in dose doesn't necessarily mean doing worse, but maybe other things in play, like p'titis. Just keep doing what you are doing.
