Well another pink start, I don't know what to do to avoid them, he's been getting a +9 snack so not sure what's up or what else I can do, any suggestions?

My fridge finally came, terrifying the cats at first now they're busy sniffing the new appliance. I love my new fridge, shinny and new and its an environmentaly friendly energy saver so I am a little more green now.

Other than that, everyone seems happy and sleepy this morning, must have been the party last night.

I wish I knew how to get rid of the pink amps! Nice numbers for Tray other than those morning pinks! At least he is clearing the bounces quickly. I would try to look at that as a good sign, and maybe the next step will be less bouncing...I hope so!

Tray is sure looking good at that 101. Nice.

Now that you have the eco-friendly frig...perhaps Tray will try on some eco-friendly green for ya... Ummmm.

Nice +6 there Tray! Don't like that stinky pink though. I wonder if making his snack a little earlier would help? Obviously I'm no expert, but I've found that Emma needs to have hers at more like +8 for me to see a lower PS number.

Hi Iorwen, I remember that Libby or Sienne or one of the other really knowledgeable people said once that AMPS is always the last number to come down. So hang in there. Nice +6--almost green (you could easily call it green!!).
Parties are always good for the numbers.

At least Tray didn't stay in those pinks today. You actually got some green and were home to see it. :-D Congrats on the new fridge - wish I had one too. There's never enough room for all of that catfood.

i think sienne, libby, or jill could give you some insight on the feeding thing...

nice nummers, tray!!

the AMPS numbers are usually the last to come down, but sometimes we can learn to manipulate that a little. You could try moving the +9 feeding earlier. +8 and +9 feedings are great for some cats, especially if they have a pancreas that is functioning sometimes. If their pancreas is not yet on the job, then all you're doing is adding more food at a time in the cycle when the insulin's action is weakening. Some cats can't handle any food after +6 or +7. Play around and see what feeding times work. They might need to be different in the AM and PM cycles.

eta: if you make changes, give them plenty of time to settle in. You won't see a difference right away.
