Good morning!
AMPS 124 shooting 1.25u

Boomer ate all of his +3, left a bit of his extra food, ate some of his +6 and some of his +9.

Allen ate very well last night and had a few small poops on the floor  And a large puke this morning

This morning I got out of bed to start the coffee and put my glasses on (I don't usually). Let Allen out of his bedroom and picked up his dishes. Went into the kitchen, started the coffee, walked over to pick up Boomer's dish, glanced out the back door and saw a man squeezing past the edge of our deck and the trees on the border of our property!:eek::eek::eek: Wouldn't have seen him if I hadn't put my glasses on. It was still dark out. Ran into the bedroom to get DH. The guy must have seen me because he was gone a few seconds later.

Yesterday I went for 3 walks! One of them reasonably successful; the other two were pretty much a waste of time. Today I was planning to go to a couple of different spots this morning; I'm still hoping to see some different birds that are migrating through this area. However Boomer's BG is lower than normal this morning. DH will test in 2 hours and I will go somewhere closer to home so that I can get back quickly if I need to.

Today's wildlife image is one I took two days ago at The Coves and is of a juvenile Carolina Wren.

Yikes on the man. I hope he doesn't come back. I hope Boomer surfs safely today. Sorry about Allen's puke. Great picture.

Wow strange start to a Monday, hopefully the guy will not be an issue. Good start for Boomer, Titan did the opposite yesterday, puke then poop! :woot:

That's scarey. Someone cutting through your property by chance or do you think it's something more than that?

Glad to hear boys are well.
I don't know.....there's nothing on that side of the house....he could have been in another part of the backyard and saw me get up and was making his escape. DH thinks he may have been thinking of breaking into our neighbour's car or garage but I don't know why he would have been in that particular spot.

That is very scary about the man on your property. Hope all your doors were locked. Did you call the police?

Nice +3 for Boomer! And nice photo!
No I didn't call the police.
Every night as Boomer is eating his +2.5 fuds I check all the doors. We leave the front lights and the back lights on all night (which is why I could see him this morning).

Wow, that’s scary about the pre dawn hooman.

When I was a kid, nobody locked their doors and there were plenty of shortcuts through yards. Nowadays, doors locked, motion sensor lights, and, alas for the children these days in this increasingly gentrified village, many of the old shortcuts are no more.

My favorite shortcut was a narrow path alongside our across the street nrughbor’s garage that opened to the back lot of the village post office and grocery store. In spring and summer the fence was in full bloom with honeysuckle and the aroma of it when I brushed alongside it. Ah, memories.

Hope you and Boomer and Allen are having a good day. Thank you for sharing today’s and every one of your nature photos. They bring peace and joy. ❤️

Yikes on the guy in your yard. Hasn't that happened before? I would definitely report it to the police - they need to know that someone is prowling around, even if they didn't actually break into anything. We had a big run of break-ins around here, and one of the things that helped was neighbors keeping their eyes peeled for suspicious activities and reporting every little thing that seemed odd. The police really appreciated the help. The three responsible criminals were all caught.
