Hi Pamela. Is there any chance the Cabergoline is causing the eye problems? She has been on Cabergoline a very long time. When did the eye problems start?

Hi Paul:bighug::bighug::bighug:No unfortunately Amethyst has Severe Dry Eye along with the Glaucoma:( She had this same problem 3 years ago and it took me 6 months to raise $3000 for the treatments .Dr.Donohue is very expensive, a good eye doctor but with no empathy towards people who do not have much money. He does not do payment plans Amethysts has had Glaucoma and Severe Dry Eye since Oct 2016, two months before she was diagnosed with Diabetes. But thank you Paul:bighug::bighug::bighug: I have a GOFUNDME set up online to help save her sight.

This poor baby, my heart just breaks for you and Amethyst hearing she's in a lot of pain. The Bup can't come soon enough.
After seeing the specialist what course of action is needed for her eyes
Thank you Diane:bighug::bighug::bighug: She is going to need monthly medications and treatments and office visits. I have set up a GOFUNDME on line to save her sight Thank you for asking

Hey Pamela trying to find some resources that can help you

RESOURCES FOR PET OWNERS IN NEED

FINANCIAL RESOURCES
There are many charities and organizations that have been created to help pet owners when veterinary care becomes a financial burden or when they are unable to care for their pet. Please contact the organizations below if they fit your current situation.

FRANKIE’S FRIENDS
Frankie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions. We help save pets’ lives by providing grants to assist with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. www.frankiesfriends.org

REDROVER RELIEF
RedRover Relief provides financial assistance grants and additional resources so pet owners and rescuers can care for animals who need urgent veterinary care. Visit redrover.org/grants for eligibility requirements and application. RedRover also offers financial assistance for victims of domestic violence and their pets. To learn more about this program, visit redrover.org/domestic.

THE PET FUND
The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care. Often animals are put down or suffer needlessly because their owners cannot afford expensive surgery or medical treatment. Companion animal owners must often make the difficult decision to put an animal down or neglect medical needs because of the costs involved.
