No poos in over 24 hours.
J.D. slept with me all night and I got some purrs before I fell asleep. I woke up at 4:00am and gave him the Flagyl. At 4:45am I heard him heaving or trying to throw up bile, but I'm not sure he actually threw up anything (I couldn't find anything) or if he threw up the pills or not. I gave him his Pepcid.
Because I don't think J.D. got up in the night to eat, his tummy was empty in the morning, which is when he tends to throw up bile. If I continue to give him the Flagyl at 4:00am, I wonder if I can give him some Pepcid at the same time. Does anyone know?
At 6:00am, I gave him his shot and he picked at his food, so I gave him his Denamarin and Ondansetron and Cyproheptadine. At 6:20am he ate almost 1/2 can of FF (which is two of his regular Breffis portions) with FortiFlora on top.
I am concerned because the last time J.D. had a Spec fPL he was fasted first, and the other new vet kept insisiting that J.D. needed to be fasted for 12 hours before the Cobalamin / Folate test. I mentioned the fasting for the tests to the Doctor we saw yesterday and she said at least we'll get a number. Well that Cobalamin test isn't cheap. I hope it tells her something. Actually, I hope his Cobalamin has come down to more normal numbers, even if he did eat all day long yesterday up until the time we went to the vet..
At +1.75, J.D. ate some more food.
I'm not sure if I should give him some bupe or not. He is a little quiet, but acting pretty normal.
I'm going btb and hoping to get some more snuggles and purrs.
