Has she ever not wanting to eat her breakfast before? That's not much of a drop at +4 . See what her BG is @+7 . I'll check back later
I think I mentioned this before if it happens again you can always try
sprinkle food with :
- forta flora -- a probiotic you can get at vets or online. is very smelly and cats love the taste of it.
- parm. cheese
-
-
- bonito tuna flakes

I see that a lot of members sprinkle it in the wet food

I have the parm shaker and the shredded hard parm---does itmatter which one?
I also gave her the 5 pieces of the Friskies party mix original just in case. does it last +4? I will test at +7----
going over to petco and get the foritflora---i am going to use this also to get stubborn snickers off the dry.
I have spent so much money on the dry --trying to find what they like. throw it out every 2 days to prevent nasties in it---
I think I will put dry kibble down when I am gone for days. and take it all away when i am home. get it out of the house---been reading

Doesn't matter with the parm , I would use the shaker

The dry food takes longer to raise blood glucose, but it lasts a longer time in most cats.
I think it will be OK to test @+7
@eva eva

Edit by the way on your SS in the remarks section when you said you will be gone you typed OOT I assume you meant OUT

once in a great while she won't eat. This is unusual for her. but we were up late last night --so she may have been tired.-----Stubborn snickers is a night owl......and goof ball. He goes flying through the house at night and comes sliding into the bedroom and flies over the bed landing next to me. Which, Phoebe about jumps out of her skin, (as do I) and then she watches him for his next carnival move. It can get pretty ridiculous at night in my house. hahahahahaha----entertaining also.

That's just too funny about Snickers :p Crazy kitty, Must scare the crap out of you and Phoebe .
Yes she could have been tired from last night. I hope she'll eat better for you later

I went out today and bought the fortiflora.
sprinkled just a smidge on Phoebe's food----she didn't eat much today.
she licked it all off and now is eating the rest of the food!
I sprinkled some on Snickers moist food. He hides so I put it near where he hides. We will see.
Got to get rid of dry.-----the war is on!

Eva don't forget to update your title tomorrow with the 4.5 test of 101
Looked at your SS and saw in the remarks section you fed her some lc at 4.5 glad you did .
I hope she stays safe harbor:cat:

thank-you--updated

looking at the chart on fancy feast food classic pate
as per the chart ---they are 5.5 oz cans-----we have 3 oz cans here. Is this a typo?
I think I have been underfeeding the cats -I split a can of 3 oz each feeding (twice a day)
they do have the core original right now--till it is gone.-free feed-not sure if other than Jack and Snickers (under duress) are eating it.
Not much is gone on a daily basis.
I read somewhere they need about 120-180 calories a day.
I don't think they make a 5.5 oz can in my area--Wisconsin.
Jack is overweight 17.3Lb
Phoebe is 10.7lb
Moosey 16 lb
Snickers---omg---i have to get a human scale and see if I can stand on it with him in my arms.--freaked out on the little scale.
