I got J.D. to eat his normal amount of 3 Dinners last night but it took some doing to get the last in him. He slept with me all night and purring when we cuddled. He seems to be feeling better today, and just had a perfect poo
The kitties went outside on the deck in the pretty cold darkness this morning and then came in and J.D. has eaten his 1st Breffis.
I wonder if this on again off again diarrhea could have something to do with their water fountain. It needs to be cleaned again, so I just unplugged it. It's a Drinkwell Platinum which I got for J.D. just about 2 years ago as an early birthday present. A long time ago, I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher and it melted a little. I used all of my strength, will, determination, and stubborness to get the still soft slightly melted plastic thing put back together. I can not take it completely apart again because I don't think I can ever get it back together. I guess I'll have to buy a new one. I do rinse rinse rinse it as best as I can, but .. The reason I'm wondering is because Ginger was really interested in the toilet last night  and this morning she was in there and couldn't wait for me to flush. I keep the lid down of course. I put a ceramic bowl of fresh water down for the cats last night and they both had a good drink. When I let the cats out this morning, they both go to the plastic watering cans that are out there and filled with water and drink. I hope Ginger is not diabetic.
Anyway, I get Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off this week YAY!, so tomorrow I think I'll go try to find some Slippery Elm Bark for J.D. and see if he'll eat it and if it helps his tummy.
