She kind of greeted me this morning. :-D Tail was up in the air, all talk, purrs, and tail hugs this a.m. Gotta love dem tail hugs, I tell you! :-D 4 P's in place. All is wonderful in BlackieLand. :-D

Balloon festival last night was a bust. Wwwwaaaaayyy too many people, and you could hardly move anywhere. We had to walk about a mile to get to the festival. We got there too late to see the balloon glow, and they were dismantling the balloons when we did get there. Basically we stuck around for about 1 hour, and then left 1/2 way through the fireworks show. When we were stuck in traffic, I was highly tempted to tell DH to turn around. I should've voiced my thought then and there. We won't be attending future balloon festivals. I've gotten about 4.5 hours of sleep, and working on a 1/4 cup of ~O) before I have to go outside to feed. I'm going to need much more ~O) this morning.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

What a great start this Sunday!
I see you're in Tx. Have you ever been to the balloon festival in Santa Fe? It's is supposed to be spectacular...on my list of things to do! Sorry yours didn't work out last week because it sounds like a great way to spend the day.

I hope your day stays smooth and you are able to get some rest!

Sorry the Balloon Festival was a bust! I stay away from certain events here for the same reasons with the crowds and traffic jams. Yes, you'll need lotsa coffee today. On those days where sleep is at a loss, I get a double Espresso, no cream, just straight up! Blackie sure is doing well today. Enjoy your Sunday and hope you can catch a nap there with Blackie.

What a nice morning for Blackie with most of the P's in place and a great AMPS. Sorry you are not doing as well with the lack of sleep. Too bad on the balloon fest. I also avoid anything that has lots of crowds, especially if I would get stuck in horrible traffic on the way home. I went to see the fireworks on the 4th of July at Stone Mountain (a big attraction here) 10 years ago and I will never be back. Took me 3 hours to get home and I only live 20 minutes away! Hope you have a peaceful day with a little more rest.

Sorry about the balloon festival when they are here in Ky they are also very very crowded its been quite a few years since i went to one but a very nice start for Blackie today

aw, heck...come stay with us for a vacation...
Th balloon fest here starts early morning, and goes on for 3 days...
and you can sit out on our patio and get a perfect view!!!

(actually...we'd just like to have folks visit :lol: )
 
GO Blackie - but not TOO low. NOISY storm's a'comin'...

Duck for that storm - it just downloaded hail and buckets on us......and included a small twister going down the road in front of us....got tree limbs and my flag but not much else here.

Bummer on the balloon fest :sad:
But, a great day for Blackie! :mrgreen: way to go!

Hope the storm wasn't too scary - we ALL jump under the covers when one comes by here :lol:
