He may well have thick nails but I have a receptionist from the emerg clinic who works with a couple of the vet techs and they have a nail-trim business on the side. Every 3-4 weeks, she texts me and asks if they want/need a trim and so two of them come over here, one holds the kitty and gives a treat while the other trims. They were doing this with both Blue and Eddie and being from the clinic they know them and now Eddie really well. Tne vet tech said Eddie looks really good, too. Cost for mobile nail trim: $20.00. For me, priceless...

That's a great service. Mine's claws are not particularly thick they just don't like it. So I sing to them and it relaxes them
