Hi Adrienne. I see Dolly is going to the vet today. Is it about the congestion? I see that you saw a good bit of green yesterday both morning and evening. I know you’ve had vet problems too and would like a new vet.
I hope you are feeling better. You mentioned a few days ago that you weren’t feeling well.

ETA: I see now (Diane pointed out to me) that Dolly has a lot of reasons to go to the vet. Poor baby! What is an anal flush? Is that the same thing as having the anal glands expressed? I have a ton of cats and that’s not a term I am familiar with. An enema, yes (unfortunately) I am familiar with.

Hi Suzanne, yes, same as anal glands expressed. She had it done recently and she had to be emptied out a lot. They want to see if she is able to make her hormones work or maybe can’t reach due to her age etc. I really had it done because she had dried poop on the base of her tail. Yes, I have to find a new vet but until I can get my head on straight and feel more rested I have to get her checked now and don’t want to do a trial and error with vets right now. Thanks for always checking on us, I am just exhausted and can’t figure out how to fix this. I fear a sinus infection and she has been on so many antibiotics that have failed. Too much to think about. Possible fur shot tonight. Dolly’s upper back smells pretty strong of insulin. She didn’t get in her usual “position” for Rob, she had just vomited her dinner and was eating her grass. It’s so cute how she immediately gets into insulin position for my husband right after eating a bit of dinner. I wish it was that easy for me for testing :stop:. Rob and Dolly went to bed already, how come I’m still up :p Hopefully one more test. She not eating much tonight but has kept down what she did eat. :cat:

Usually Dolly comes out to see what’s taking me so long to get to bed :rolleyes:. Not tonight :(
