Panzer is doing really good so far with his reduction, hopefully it keeps going smoothly & he gets another one soon.
When I saw that 42 on the meter it really freaked me out but other than acting a little sleepy he was fine. He really loved the extra HC that I fed him twice to bring him back up into safe numbers.
Tonight he's acting his normal self trying to get my food as always
I have to stand up & eat most of the time because he is determined to smack my food off of my plate. He hasn't had people food in forever but he never gives up
There was one thing on his urinalysis results that worries me. I will try to post a photo of it on here but for now I will just write it out.
Protein trace (high) the note says Microalbuminuria testing is recommended (if sediment is inactive) to help determine the clinical significance of proteinuria.
When I Googled it, it talks about the heart & CKD which his bloodwork the last few times has been pointing towards CKD. Is anyone familiar with what this is saying? It recommends an ultrasound & possible biopsy on Google, at this point I can't even afford bloodwork let alone the other 2 things.
I think the new feeding schedule has really helped with Panzer's #s & getting the reduction. I am slowly trying to ween them off of the ondansetron & MIrataz. Spook has been the hardest, he so far has to have mirtaz daily Panzer every other day. They are both down to ondansetron @ AMPS feeding only. Which should I try to elimate all together first the ondansetron or the Mirataz? Spook is showing improvement finally this week. He's been eating all of his food & begging for it sometimes. https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...69-4-68-5-54-6-58-7-61-8.268201/#post-2998206
