Panzer is doing really good so far with his reduction, hopefully it keeps going smoothly & he gets another one soon.

When I saw that 42 on the meter it really freaked me out but other than acting a little sleepy he was fine. He really loved the extra HC that I fed him twice to bring him back up into safe numbers.

Tonight he's acting his normal self trying to get my food as always  I have to stand up & eat most of the time because he is determined to smack my food off of my plate. He hasn't had people food in forever but he never gives up

There was one thing on his urinalysis results that worries me. I will try to post a photo of it on here but for now I will just write it out.
Protein trace (high) the note says Microalbuminuria testing is recommended (if sediment is inactive) to help determine the clinical significance of proteinuria.
When I Googled it, it talks about the heart & CKD which his bloodwork the last few times has been pointing towards CKD. Is anyone familiar with what this is saying? It recommends an ultrasound & possible biopsy on Google, at this point I can't even afford bloodwork let alone the other 2 things.

I think the new feeding schedule has really helped with Panzer's #s & getting the reduction. I am slowly trying to ween them off of the ondansetron & MIrataz. Spook has been the hardest, he so far has to have mirtaz daily Panzer every other day. They are both down to ondansetron @ AMPS feeding only. Which should I try to elimate all together first the ondansetron or the Mirataz? Spook is showing improvement finally this week. He's been eating all of his food & begging for it sometimes. https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...69-4-68-5-54-6-58-7-61-8.268201/#post-2998206

What was the value of the urine protein? If high enough, a test called a urine protein/creatinine ratio should be run. More here: http://www.felinecrf.org/proteinuria.htm

Don't give Miritaz (an appetite stimulant) without also giving nausea meds (ondansetron). I would try removing Miritaz first. Ondansetron doesn't last all day, needs to be given more than once per day.

It just says protein trace (high). Thanks for a link I will check it out @Wendy&Neko

They were taking the ondansetron twice a day but I weaned them down to once a day. I will try skipping the Mirataz on both of them tomorrow & see how it goes.

@Wendy&Neko I don't know if this means anything but his labs from 06-23 his protein was 7.3 albumin 3.5 globulin 3.8

I was interested in his urine protein (not blood protein), either it's positive and a number, or negative. If just trace, not so much to worry about yet. I didn't get Neko tested for proteinuria until it got up to +3.

Ok it says negative so I guess we are good for now. I was trying to post a picture of it on here, but it won't let me on my tablet or my phone. I will get my desktop up & running this weekend.

I fed them what I thought was higher in carbs than it was but it ends up it's only 4% carbs where as they normally eat 2-3% carbs. Looks like I will be testing again soon.

Panzer is not feeling well, I don't think it a pancreatitis flare up but rather that he's constipated. He's still getting mirilax 2xs a day. I may try some psyllium husk later in a gel pack (size 5) inside a pill pocket. He's eating well no mirataz today just ondansetron. I was going to stop mirtaz on Spook today but he didn't want to eat AMPS feeding :banghead: he ate all but 2tsps with coaxing & fortiflora.
