Good morning!
AMPS 162 shooting 2.75u

Boomer only got me up once last night around +4. He ate most of his food.
Yesterday DH and I took advantage of Boomer's higher numbers and went on a road trip to St Mary's. It's only about 40 minutes away and I have photo cards in a shop there. So we dropped off some more cards, picked up money from the cards that had sold, and went to the river where there was a Blue Heron fishing as well as several gulls and cormorants. And an Osprey flew over then landed in a tree across the river. Then we came back to London but stopped for dinner and to check out an Osprey nest....nesting season is long gone but the Ospreys are still hanging around.

Today's photo was taken yesterday morning at Saunders Pond when I was lucky enough to find the Pileated Woodpeckers again!

WOWWWWW! Were you close to that pileated? He's so strange looking! Beautiful and strange! Oh, how I wish I could get that close - they're so shy - they don't wait for me to stumble around and even get a good look...

So glad to see Boomer is back in the greens!

+5 79 and he's eating his +6 now.
ETA: At +5 he was hiding under the bed because DH was frying something and Boomer doesn't like that noise. So I took his food into him and I figured he had eaten it. He hadn't. So I tested again at +6 65. And he's eating now.

There were two of them, both quite high but yes the tree was on the edge of the path. Apparently the pileated were down much lower this morning and I missed it. Maybe tomorrow.
