WCR: Thankfully, Blackie is doing well, or as well as can be for the most part. I'll continue on with my experiment with her as planned, and go from there.

Shadow... Not sure at this point. She did eat a bit of food this morning. Yesterday, I picked up a can of albacore tuna in water as I needed to get her to eat SOMEthing, even if it's not 100% good for her. She went to town on it last evening, and ate a bit of Fancy Feast that I had picked up for her, too. Her wound... Still oozing. I did dilute the peroxide (1 tsp. each water and peroxide), but have scaled back the amount of peroxide and added more water. This morning, I just wetted a cotton ball with water and dabbed at her wound, which is still oozing. I don't know how to make it stop, and it's killing me. I truly hate seeing her like this. She stayed in the shed all night long with her water dish, which was good as she would've been safe there anyway. Not sure how much water she drank, or if she drank anything. I had given her a bit more tuna, and she went to town on it again, but didn't eat as much as yesterday.

Later on this morning, she had moved over to a spot between the wall of the shed, and ground tiller, and I noticed that there were fire ants underneath her. I went back inside, got a bit more food, got the fire ant bait, went back to the shed, put the bait down, picked her up, carried her back to the porch steps, put her on my lap, presented the food to her, and she turned her nose up at it. Thankfully she stayed in my lap, so I petted and talked to her. After about 5-10 minutes, I presented the food to her again, and this time she ate. She only ate 6 out of the 17 grams that I gave her, but that's ok. She wanted down from my lap, and I gently put her on the ground. She started to head in the direction of the shed, but I managed to block her from doing that, and proceeded to bait the area where the ants were, and block it so that she couldn't lay there anymore. The last thing I want was to have ants crawling all over her. That's my biggest fear right now, and I'm trying to convince DH to help me clean out a back room to bring her in. She'll be much safer, and I can treat her better. By the humming and hawing of DH right now, I'll have better luck winning the lottery, even though I don't play.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Hi Angela,
I'm glad that Blackie is doing well.
I continue sending tons of vines to Shadow.
