WCR: What can I say, Tuffy is Tuffy. An Anomaly for a sugar kitty. She does it her way at my expense but I love her to pieces. She consistently takes the laces out of my sneakers, barn boots and anything else she can think of. She is adjusting to my working a few days a week and also doing barn care a few days a week. We are back to her dramatic swings. She can be 120 at PMPS and two hours later 30. We are slowly but surely coming down the dosing scale. I'm sure I'm guilty of leaving too much food when I'm gone but that is a safety net for me. She will eat if she is low. I do get my evening checks but catching the lows is due to her. If I'm reading or on the computer and she is dropping she will start with smacking my thigh, running to her food bowl or her testing spot. That tells me she needs my assistance.
Tuffy antics, there are always Tuffy antics. She is loaded with personality and devilish behavior. She will throw herself down at my feet and roll over as if to ask for a belly scratch and it I touch her belly (which is adorable) she smacks me. One night I had a migraine and she gave me kitty kisses, gently pawed my cheek and waited for a response I think every hour on the hour. Finally I threatened to lock her up, I got a smack and she left the bed. We recently traveled to Savannah to visit my son and DIL It had been a while since we had a road trip so I didn't shoot the morning we left. Tuffy loves to travel. When we arrived, her bg 363. UGH! AT PMPS it was 200, later that evening it was 120. At AMPS, she 100. I shot, went to breakfast and upon return +3 tested and she was 29.That is normal Tuffy. She also delighted in terrorizing my sons 2 dogs. never a dull moment with her. She grew up with a Rottie and likes big dogs. Heidi was her best friend. She is not afraid of dogs not sure if that is good or bad.
I have given up on my SS for now. When I have some time I will try to set up a new one.
Sending vines, prayers and positive thoughts to all that need them and special prayers for our recent GAs. Some very sad times in LL.
