Last Night:
420 PMPS
301 +6

Last night I was worried about J.D. He was only eating bits at a time and when he was done eating his little bits of FF and he was refusing more. Normally, he will eat for me if I lift the bowl to his face. I gave him some Pepcid and some cypro and the cypro didn't seem to help. He seemed withdrawn and I was thinking I may have to take him in for some bloodwork or something. Maybe he was having a bout of pancreatitis.

This morning I woke up at +11 and caught him eating some leftover YAZC from the automatic feeder and did not stop him. When I got up just a little bit late for AMPS, I saw that all of the food bowls (probably 6 or 7) that had food in them last night when I went to bed, were empty. All of this food eating must have happened after midnight (+6), because he was still not eating much by +6.

I also woke up to a purrfect solid stool on the pee pad, and to a beautiful day and both cats in a great mood.
Ginger has been running in and out of the house, so I have been joining her outside in the cool fall morning as she likes me to join her for some reason.

I have taken J.D. out for two walks so far.

And I have fed a couple squirrels.
It seems the squirrels all had babies or something. I used to have 4 or 5 adult squirrels begging for peanuts every morning and evening right outside my condo, and since I came home from Pittsburgh have not seem hide nor hair of them. I have seen a mother with babies once in a while. Today, I fed one mother down at the far end of the wooded patch, And then I found Mama! :-D I haven't seen her in like 5 months and was worried about her. I have been feeding her for about 5 years and don't know what their life span is, but the last time I saw her in the Spring she was coming out from under the bushes (not up in the trees) and I just thought she was getting up there. Well today, she's looking good and it was so good to see her.

So all is well, here. I'm glad J.D. has decided to not bounce on my day off. He has been an eating machine today. He has eaten 2 and 1/2 Breffises (he shared one with Ginger) so far, and has had lots and lots of treats.

Yay for happy appy, even if it was after midnight. :-D :-D :-D Great numbers this morning too. Our kitties rarely catch anything, they just watch lots of "rodent TV".  Happy Caturday, Dyana!

nice slow drop. hope you are feeding this to keep it slow and not let him get into double digits yet

Re: 09/14 J.D. +3.25 149, +4 128, +5 102, +6 92

That's nice and slow. He has eaten about 25% more LC than he normally eats, lots of treats, and just had 2 shrimp.

Some nice looking bg's today....

I think that's the nature of ya.... it fills them up so they don't want to eat... ( that's what Melanie told me)
certainly not on cue.

Hope you enjoy your day off.

He just shared his 3rd and 4th shrimps with Ginger and ate 1 teaspoon of FF.
Ginger likes her shrimp torn into itty bitty bits and J.D. likes his in big hunks, so J.D. gets more. He earned them afterall.

Re: 09/14 J.D. PMPS 187

Hopefully J.D. will stay in the good numbers.

On our 3rd walk (in nice cool jacket weather :-D ), I was trying to hold J.D. properly (as I carried him to where I wanted him to walk from) and put my hand under his back two feet and my finger got what I thought was mud on it from his foot. I decided to smell my finger. It wasn't mud. We went right back inside the house for a foot was for J.D. He must have stepped in something.

Around 4:00pm (+10), I finally closed the windows and turned the furnace on in the house and took about a half hour nap under a blanket on the couch. Still fighting a cold.

At PMPS, J.D. wanted to go outside again, and so the sliding glass door is open again and both kitties went outside.

J.D. just came back in and climbed up his cat tree which is next to my computer and that usually means he's looking for a treat, so I fed him and he ate all his 1st Dinner served on the top step of his cat tree.

I'm so glad he's feeling better.

Hi Dyana
Sounds like a wonderful day for your kitties. Lots of good shrimp treats and walks outside. It's good to see how well J.D ate.
Sorry you're not feeling well.

Re: 09/14 J.D. PMPS 187

Sorry you still aren't feeling well, Dyana. I hope you get better quick.

Sounds like a very nice easy peasy relaxing day in your house! Just a puttzying around! Ginger and JD must really be happy today with all that time outside and all those shrimp treats!

Glad you saw your squirrels today. I'm afraid that our squirrels are not around much either. Eleanor was worried about one of her squirrels because the last time she saw it, it was dragging his rear leg. The next day she found him on the road.....he did not make it.....I guess such is the circle of life, eh.

Sending nice easy blue vines for the evening and I hope you wake up to a nice mellow JD!

Yay JD!!!! All things great and look at that lovely blue surf!!!

Sending you healing vines, Dyana. Take care of you!!!

Good job, J.D. I'm so happy that you decided to eat for your mama! And yay on nice weather and fun walks. Dyana, I hope you start feeling better.
