Boomer got me up last night at the usual times for the usual stuff :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: My boy does like his routines :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yesterday was exciting here....well for a wildlife photographer it was exciting:smuggrin: In the morning I saw a Brown Thrasher in my backyard....it disappeared before I could grab my camera and get out the door:( Later in the afternoon I went out to fill the bird feeder before the storms rolled in and took my camera out with me. I was photographing a grackle having a tubby in my bird bath and something caught my eye.....and it was an American Redstart! I saw my first one this spring, I've seen them maybe 4 times since but could never get a good shot. Well, I photographed them for over an hour yesterday; I think there were 5 or 6 in my tree. And while I was standing there, a Red-Bellied Woodpecker landed in our tree. So today's photos are of the American Redstarts.
