Amazing to me what just a tiny bit of insulin will do. From those giving 1-2 drops to the 1/8U increase I did - what a difference.

TGIF. Hope everyone has a great day. Prayers for those on the east coast. From experience - it is going to be a long next couple of weeks for those poor folks. We have our own little tropical wave coming ashore today and tomorrow also (not much coverage due to Florence) and we are expecting lots of rain and flooding.

I hope you have a good, safe weekend - no weather dramas! The storm looks just devastating - both on the mainland and the monster storm that has hit the Philippines. I hope everyone is able to stay safe... :bighug:
 
It is amazing what a few drops do.......

Hope you stay safe and dry. These storms are scary. This has been the worse summer ever weather wise, cold, rainy, hot, rainy, really hot, rainy..........ugh, But, while I have complained about it, we are so darn lucky!! I've got soggy tomatoes, BIG DEAL! I AM GRATEFUL! :bighug:
 
I gave him a tablespoon of MC mixed in with his +4.5 (and fed early). I am so tired. I haven't been able to go to bed early because hubby has been sick so I have been staying up for the +4.5PM test all week. I will test again at +5 and hopefully he has come up and if not I will give a bit more MC.

What is Gizmo doing? From a pre-shot of 135 to 50 at +4? Good grief! Slow down, there, boy, slow down!

He was on 1.25U for over 2 months. A few times I had to add MC or HC to his snacks in the feeder just to be safe (while at work) but for the most part he did really well on it and after being home with him for a week his numbers dropped enough that I wasn't comfortable on that dose so reduced him to 1.0U (7 cycles) and the numbers started creeping up so I split the difference and went to 1.125U (this is the 5th cycle). He also gets an Epogen shot (for anenia) on Friday nights that tend to hike his numbers up Saturday and Sunday (no idea why). It is such a fun numbers game I play with him (:banghead: NOT).

Lol. Thanks. Hubby is doing better. He has a summer cold - yuk. He works in the Texas heat every day and that alone is miserable and then add a head cold on top o_O. I didn't want it to get him completely down but it means I have only been getting about 5 hours of sleep per night. :oops:

I tried all week last week to get a picture of the hummers feeding for you but they are fast little suckers and we have one bully that chases the others off.
 
Lizzie , I can’t believe with all else you have to do that you’d be trying to take photo of your hummies for me ❤️ We get frustrated at out bullies too...chest butting and chasing others off with such a long trip ahead of them . They are comical :) I’m really hoping you have a relaxed weekend , full of naps and your feet up . :bighug::bighug::bighug:
